Trip Report And When it's Time to Find Home. We know the Way!! Aue Aue

Good Morning all my Disney loving friends! We just hit the road and our first destination is Charlotte, NC. However, before I get ahead of myself, it is our normal crew, myself, Deighton (I turn the big 5 0 this year), Den my husband and our 3 kids. Hunter who is 20 and is now bartending... Camden 13 still an avid lacrosse player and fisherman and the youngest Brinley, 9 for now but on August 10 she will turn 10 in Disney World.

Here is a brief schedule of the next 2 weeks. As I stated earlier we will arriving in Charlotte, NC around 4 pm today. We have reservations at a southern BBQ restaurant (let the feeding frenzy begin). Tomorrow, we leave early to get to Savannah Georgia as soon as possible. We have a lot that we want to do here but the weather is not showing that it is going to cooperate. Hopefully the weather man is as wrong in Savannah as they are in
Pittsburgh!

After a night in Savannah, we are headed to Disney Springs for 2 days. We have reservations in Disney Springs and this is when we will do some resort hopping. Then it is home to The Boardwalk for 9 nights with a seven day hopper. Then back to Charlotte to meet up with my brother and his family. Then sadly home and back to the grind! I will post more details shortly!

Thanks for following and thanks to all of you who take the time to do Trip Reports! You have no idea how much it keeps me going💞

1/2 baguette and chicken pesto sandwich. Fun fact here the sodas are 4.95 but they are ginormous. Sorry no picture. We stop here every trip and this place is great but, it needs more tables!! Definitely, survival of the fittest here. Also, where did the tables go outside?? They were a major bonus!

Brin and Cam feasted on sushi. Den and I got a bite in which is'nt easy with these sushi vultures!

Finally the walk out which was timed perfectly because it started to pour as soon as we were outside the ice cream parlor at The Boardwalk. I guess Brin getting ice cream was meant to be! Before this, we went to guest relations to extend our hopper by a day. Yeah! Cam decided he wasn't waiting. See ya Cam!

@Tuvalu or anyone else out there. Is there a good, family lounge inside Wilderness Lounge that we all could hang out at before dinner at Whispering Canyon tonight? Thanks in advance!!
Territory lounge is very small and is inside the main building next to Artist Point. Good choice if it’s pouring.

I prefer Geyser Point which is open air but covered. If it’s pouring it would be a wet walk to get there. But if not, I would pick this over Territory.

Question-did you just use his magicband to ride it twice.? I’ve wondered if they would let you do that. Sometimes my DH or I don’t use ond of our LL.
You just go to your wallet in the Disney app and a CM will scan the extra ll. Also, the wonderful CM told me that I could go to guest relations and they, may, give me my money back. I chose to ride!

There’s a lounge-Territory Lounge. I haven’t been there, but walked by it. I googled for you. Opens at 4.
We’ve always enjoyed our visits to Geyser Point 🤷‍♀️ at the Lodge

Thanks all!! It is still raining for now so I will keep you posted. We are very much looking forward to this visit!
