Oh my. We did the same thing on our trip in Feb. We remembered every single thing except our box of all 6 of our pretty MBs...!!! :hilarious: When we got to the resort (ASMusic) we told them at the front desk and they replaced 'em right then and there with the gray ones. No problems. Have a great trip...! :)

I had a purple Magic Band for my trip last month to stay at Old Key West. Left the room to meet some friends for lunch--every one of them wearing a purple Magic Band--and realized there was no band on my wrist. :banghead: Woops.

Went to concierge desk to ask what to do, and she said "have someone else in your party let you back in the room". No can do, I'm traveling solo. She had to grab a gray band and program it for me so I could get back into my room.

You can always go a park and buy a replacement band and keep it as a $20 souvenir or use them as Christmas Tree ornaments. My wife and children have Ariel, Tinkerbell, Mickey and Princess Aurora. I continue to use my orange band, for now anyway.

Hmm...soaking up the magic at WDW with a gray band or sitting here in front of my computer with laundry and dishes waiting?? Hard choice, but....I'll take the gray band! :joyfull: Have a great time! (But, I feel your pain since purple is my favorite color)

Funny story about our magic band experience last fall. We stay on-site about three or four times per year. Plus we do about one or two daily visits per month on top of that. Anyway,
We went back to our room on that fateful trip. Only to find that our bands did not work. None of our party could get into our room. Rather than tote the whole family down to the front desk. They stayed behind at the room waiting in the wall while I walked back up to the front desk. Told CM that our bands didn't work. They said they'd send maintenance to come and fix it right away. Now keep in mind, we were staying in the Polynesian. Our room was all the way over right next to TTC. Nice thing is it was about a 2 minute walk to the TTC plaza. Bad thing is it was a longer walk to the Poly front desk.

About 30 mins or so later Maintenance came and let us in. He then goes to attempt to fix the issue. He replaced the batteries and bands still did not work. He said, You''ll have to go back down to front desk for them to reprogram your bands. So, I went back down to front desk and replied what Maintenance told me, to the front desk person. They said that they don't reprogram the bands as they are working ok and if they are ok you cannot reprogram them. I told them again what Maintenance said, then I just stood there while they tried to figure out what the issue was and had to check all four bands multiple times. After about 20 minutes waiting there at front desk, they said no issue with bands and will send maintenance back down to our room soon (another 30 minutes later or so). They then decided to change out the wifi type circuit board in the door lock assembly. Then boom! worked like a champ. Now if they only could have done that 2 hours earlier that would have been even better.
