im thinking this is one of the "younger" posters. hydrogen??? hope its a no smoking ride. why not have those tube things they have at bank drive thru's. jump in a huge canister and hit the button. now thats a ride id definatly go on

Wind direction would be a bigger issue. Think of being upwind of the south end of a north going elephant? For 45 mins back to your resort? I can't imagine that being very pleasant. They may work for peanuts, but really now.......

As I said, newer technologies have been developed that would prevent explosions, such as mixing the hydrogen with other gases and chemicals that would reverse the explosive properties and prevent another Hindenburg.
Think Apollo 1. That catastrophe happened because the air inside the capsule was 100% oxygen. Had they tossed in the towel at that point, we would never have gone to the moon, flown the shuttles, or built the International Space Station, but they figured out that if the air was mixed with nitrogen and more like the air we breath, that type of catastrophe is avoided.
