So wdwmagic doesn't really have a D23 section (they should be working on that) but anyway I've been a poster for sometime here at WDWMAGIC (usually here in the Imagineering section) and wanted to share some news with you guys....

From the e-mail I got today from D23....

"Congratulations! Your painting has been selected as one of five Finalists in the Donald Duck 75th Anniversary portrait contest, and will be on display in the Fan Art Gallery at the D23 Expo. The winning entry is scheduled to be announced during a special event at the Expo on Saturday, September 12.

MORE great news -- your painting of the Fab Five was selected for display in the Fan Art Gallery as well!

Thank you so much for your interest and enthusiasm in the contest.[/FONT]"

Pretty crazy, huh???? I know not too many of WDWMAGIC members will be at the expo but I'll be there representing us East Coast Disney World lovers!!! Wish me luck in the finals!!!

I wish i could go to the Expo.. but being in Fl.. that would be hard becasue i also have school

Very impressive. Congratulations. I have zero artistic ability so I can certainly appreciate the skill it would take to be entered into something such as this.
