This is probably rumor but I came across an article (do not know how old it is) saying how they were planning to bring dream finder back when they had the money and they are restoring it to its former glory. I want to believe it but I am not getting my hopes up the article was on jimhillmedia.com. It seemed legit but I cant tell. You all probally have seen it but it is always good to hear what other people think is true. How I found it? my sister got the news and was very upset and I told her it was changed for 10 years so she went and found this article. My parents have been hiding it from her for 8 years.

Well that was stupid, Spend money to replace the entire ride then take that down and spend money to bring back dreamfinder. Eric Idle sucks so it is worth every penny to bring it back but what were the thinking. I guess they will just reassemble the ride in pieces and update. They said it would be back to its former glory. I will probably have kids by the time that opens. Well they have no choice everyone misses it it is almost ideal to bring it back. The ride lost me as a fan it has to have lost allot of views. That whole ride was genius, well thought out and just perfect not to mention the scenery, and the fact every original aspect except figment and the old track routs is gone or at least looks it. Thats just bizarre to take it all down and make it cheap, I almost wonder if that ride is still there because it is so different.

And I actually like Eric Idle as Channing. Nothing like Dreamfinder, but Channing ain't the devil.

It has to happen no doubt. I mean those props were a masterpiece. My aunt was on youtube and my cousin saw a tab for a dreamfinder video, ripped the laptop put of her hands and watch the whole video :lol:, not to mention she is 25. She want on Eric Idle and could care less. It just doesn't work that is a ride that will stick and live forever. Its like It's A Small World it never changes and is still loved. Now they should of updated a bit and saved money. Now they are going to pay so much to restore it to it's original glory. It's got to be in a warehouse ready to be reassembled. Eric idle is good but shouldn't overwrite dreamfinder.

DR. Niegel Tanning sign? Nice way to slaughter imagination. I remember entering thru the tunnel then meeting dreamfinder not on a screen but his mobile. I just hope we dont meet him thru a screen. But then they already have the stuff made of the kept it. The new ride is just to tacky and commercial to me. Nothing beats the old cartoons. I remember all little kids getting all exited and their faces lit up, now they look bored and confused except for the end. I remember getting all exited when I saw the end and thought I might see dreamfinder who I spent the whole ride looking for then 2 seconds it was over... BUMMER LOL.

Oh yeah :hammer:, But it is different it is an effect seeing dreamfinder flying in to greet everyone as if santa was going to land on your roof of course he is just a saint like any other listed saint and doesn't deliver presents but it is nice to start the ride with a friendly face not a snobby character. I used to get so exited when I saw that I was like 5, the last time I was on the ride and I missed a few years of going to disney. It is just one of those things that many people just can't part with.

Thats right it is. Idle is good to and I wouldn't mind seeing him in a future ride, I just prefer Dreamfinder. I like how the character is acted by a fremiliar face and only shown on a screen. And the new ride is good, the soryline is good, and the work put into the scenery is just as good and better then the new stuff in SSE. I just prefer the good old ride. I get bothered with Ellen and Billnye on the screens. I wish they would make a Dr. le for that ride and have more ride than screen. Ellen is a good host but not for a ride in my opinion.

As would I....Channing and DF could be there at the same time, IMHO.
Fig and DF take Channing through the Dreamport to help with new projects for the Imagination Institute?:shrug:
Thats perfect. Start with Channing and figment he goes to return figment to DF and DF sees Channings problem to his lack of imagination, then they go thru the old ride or something very similar :shrug:.
