Also, not been a big fan of Derric Johnson. Great arranger, but kind of a jerk to singers backstage.

Interesting. I’ve got no direct experience with the VoL, but the times I’ve worked with Derric he’s been nothing but professional. Demanding? Sure, but no more than most other directors/arrangers at that level. And he’s definitely an old school EPCOT Center fan.
