Im listening to the show right now and Ive got a question:

During the "Beautiful Morning" scene, did that actually happen? Not that it really matters but I've been thinking about it.

Also, what is your favorite scene in the show?

I actually like the Golden Dream sequence, just, obviously, because of the music.

DUDE! don't they teach American History in school any more?
That sequence is about the American CIVIL War / the war between states / North vs. South / the brothers war / the war of Northern Aggression / the present inconvinience. (all names given to that time period. 1861-1864. And yes it does matter as it was a major turning point in U.S. history. Abraham Lincoln was president of the US and the North and Jefferson Davis was the President of the Confederacy or the South. I'm assuming that this is what you are referring. Think "Gone With The Wind" the Movie.

I'm sure that the situation depicted in "Two Brothers" did occur, but the particular family it affects in the show is not real. The two brothers in the photo are actually Imagineers. :)

I have no clue what scene that even is????? If it is the "Two Brothers" scene, then no that was just done for AA and then carried over to Great Moments here in DL till they took it out to give us the new show 2 years ago. Also another bit of info on that scene, the end part where they are picking up the body of the dead brother at the train station. The scene was filmed in DL at the Fronterland Station......that is actaully in NEW ORLEANS SQUARE?!?!?! That is now the New Orleans Square station. Some one explan that one to me. Also at that station they play Walts opening day speech in Morrse (sp?) code.

Prior to the construction of New Orleans Square the buildings used in the film were actually the Frontierland Train Station. With the expansion of New Orleans the buildings were moved to the other side of the tracks, and a new train platform was built to accomodate more people.

DUDE! Chill out. I didnt need a history lesson. All I wanted to know was if that storyline for "Two Brothers" acutally happened.

HWTW? Saw it once, couldn't finish watching it, too damn boring for me.

Yeah...AA takes the Civil War as rooted through slavery...although this wasn't the entire reason the war started out.

Still, kinda hard to list everything about the history of America in 29 minutes, no?

Most of the Civil War pictures in AA were actually taken during the CW. The family, and it's pics, are recreations of what occured hundreds if not thousands of times during the CW; e.g. brother against brother.
