American Adventure Finale image question

In the finale, when all the images are going by, there is one image where someone is holding a sign with a couple of arrows going in a circle. They may have been Green and Orange, I am not sure.

My question is, what is the significance of that sign in American History, and who is holding it?

Is this the one you are talking about?

My first guess is that it's from the original Earth Day marches/protests. Trying to verify.
