I've seen videos of this show on YouTube after it replaced the Carousel of Progress show in Disneyland.. Does anyone else believe this would be a great little addition to add to Liberty Square? (If there's any room) Or is it just me? I thought it was a GREAT concept! And pretty entertaining! It wouldn't even have to be a revolving theatre.. But, it COULD be. Seems like something more to add to that little land.

As great as it was in its time, I don't think the attraction holds up very well today. Plus, I don't think it would fit Liberty Square's atmosphere very well.

Could you explain a bit more? I'm interested in this! :) How would it not fit Liberty Square's atmosphere? It would certainly fit better than Haunted Mansion does.. And it wouldn't have to have the same exterior design it had in tomorrowland.. Liberty Square seems like it would be a good fit given its American theme.

I do understand that the music itself may seem to not work as well.. But nothing a few updates couldn't fix?

This attraction received quite a bit of bad press after a Cast Member got brutally killed by the attraction mechanism.

The AA performers of the original attraction became the creatures in DL Splash Mountain thanks to a well written Union contract forbidding Disney to retire them until they were tenured and could receive full benefits.

As far as the atmosphere goes, Liberty Square is supposed to make you feel like you're in a colonial/early American town. A huge, round, futuristic building would stick out. The Haunted Mansion's facade works well within the land, but I agree that the attraction within doesn't fit the theme very well. I guess the songs could be re-recorded and made better, but I'm not sure how well the attraction would work.

Why? All the America Sings Characters (Except Sam & Ollie) Are currently resided inside....

And also I'd like to point out this awesome Animaton from former Disney Animator James Lopez is doing an Animation Tribute to the Attraction...

Liberty Square is not the same as The American Adventure. It is set in a more specific timeframe instead of being about the United States across time. A look at a people's music could work well in any of the World Showcase pavilions.

Well the exterior of the building needn't be the same as the Disneyland facade. And it's about America through the ages, so fits about as well as the hall of presidents (although less regal I guess.)

But there is absolutely no room in liberty square for anything new. About the only way to get anything in is to build behind the haunted mansion which necessitates filling in part of the rivers of America, or replacing the hall of presidents - which I think is a terrible idea.

Unless you want to expand liberty square into the rivers of America or fantasyland then you manage it. But that's some serious remodeling.

They couldn't fit another carousel theater in Liberty Square. Plus, it would be redundant since you have the Carousel of Progress. The rule is you can only duplicate attraction types in the same park if they're Fantasyland dark rides, omnimovers or Circle-Visions. It was never that popular at Disneyland and it would certainly be totally out of place in modern day WDW. They should do it.
