Am I the only one who thinks this?

Wonders of life closed mainly due to the lack of a sponsor and low guest counts.

Image works closed because Kodak no longer sponsors it.

Horizons closed due to a sponsor pulling out and low guest counts.

WOM changed to TT primarily because the sponsor wanted a change due to low guest counts.

(See the trend here?)

TLS lost their sponsor and began rapidly going down hill the big difference is it had one of the largest aquariums in the world. The place could simply not be leveled, redone or repurposed with out major expense. Nemo was the quick and easy solution with almost an 100% guarantee of success and little to no chance of the theme becoming outdated.

Well said.

People also forget the negatives about past things. WoL was/is a very lame pavilion. It is small, cheesy, and the other attractions inside other than Body Wars where incredibly weak.

The screens in SSE are there to engage you during the dullest part of the attraction, the ascent and descent.

Nemo brought the attraction back to life and then some. You think the Norway film has people bypassing it? The original Seas film was a big snooze as well ("In the beginning it rained...and rained...and rained some more...), then they killed the hydrolators and then the sea cabs. Nemo makes this pavilion jump compared to the state it had reached.

Not to stray to far off path here, but it is just like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
People pine for the attraction and wish it was still here.
In reality, while it had cool cars and a unique dual track, the actual ride was all flat, plywood cut-outs. If they built something like that in the new little mermaid there would be a riot.

I do agree that they should have kept image works open, it couldn't have taken that many people to staff it.

Blink, blink. Breathe, breathe. Day in, day out.
make some themed thrill rides in the World Showcase....

or maybe expand Maelstrom, and some more water spraying to the drop, and a more interesting name? :ROFLOL: oh, and updated animatronics of course. That 30 minute wait 20 second ride isn't worth a walk-on now.

I liked the original world showcase ideas with all those water rides. Not that big of a fan of the Circle Vision 360 movies, that's why I always complained when i was younger, didn't wanna go on them. I think disney needs more water rides, current: Splash Mountain - AWESOME! 3 Cabelleros = Kinda-sorta and Maelstrom = waist of time. I'm okay with 3 cabelleros, even if it's still attracting just as many guests as it did before :lookaroun still a walk on.

I'm up for Dreamfinder's Imagination Voyage Coaster presented by Fuji! :D

Also the ORIGINAL imageworks didn't close because of the sponsor, he said original not the newer. Yea the newer one closed because of sponsor. Boy oh boy I can't WAIT to see what becomes of the pavilion now!

The need to make a new version of Cranium Command, make a new body wars with 3-D glasses like they're doing for star tours, add some better stuff in the middle of the pavilion in the small theaters (maybe the new location for Perry the Platypus World Showcase adventure? Boy that'll drive alot of guests in there! :)). Frontiers should be a coffee shop (that place where you go to exit out of body wars) The Making of Me should be a new shrek-like 4-D movie, heck, expand the theater over the other stage theaters so that it won't be a 3 hour wait in that tiny thing :D

...just my thought... goodnight :snore:
