Am I screwed?

So I have been lurking the forum and then I thought... 'Oh NO! It is less than 180 days to my trip during the busiest time at Disney and our group isn't booking dinging reservations until the 28th of June!"

I am going to Disney December 27th-January 4th with a few friends of ours. We are going over restaurant choices tomorrow evening.

We would like to have a few sit down meals for sure. We were interested in places like Le Cellier and a few others.

Will we actually be able to get some dinner reservations? I had no idea people actually booked them right at the 180 day mark. I mean, what if you booked your trip after that mark?

Will I be okay to have dinner at Disney during this Christmasy Vacation?:xmas:

Heck, I've called a week out and gotten places to eat. May not be my first choice or the exact time I wanted... that is one of the reasons we always have park hoppers, you are not tied down to the park you are in.

Make your decisions and then call and see what is available. Be flexible, have alternate dates and times available. If you don't get your favorite places then call every so often and see about cancellations. Program the dining line number into your cell phone so you can call from the parks, if need be, to see what is available that day. Good luck!

This is what I'd do as well. I does help to be flexible with your dates and times. Le Cellier sometimes can be easier to book for lunch. Try dinner first (if that's what you prefer, then see if anything is avaiiable for lunch). You may want to chek that one first, then plan everything else around the day you get that one (if it's available). I'd call ASAP though. :)

We arrive on December 25th and booked all our meals on the 180 day mark. We got everything we wanted within an hour of the times we wanted.

I wouldn't delay making that phone call any longer - you're visiting at the busiest time of year

Exactly. A lot of times people get lucky with last minute reservations... but those are usually during regular times of the year. Call ASAP!!!

Your best booking immediately at 180 days out, but a lot of restaurants have cancelations. However, LeCellier is always booked as well it should be. It by far the best restaurant we have gone to.
