Well we have always had a good meal there. Considering that MK has limited restaurants offering table service meals, other than BOG & Crystal Palace theres not options IMHO that wows us.

I used to like lunch until they removed the pot roast. Last trip I made a reservation and we only ordered the corn fritters & ooey gooey toffee cake. Nice quick in and out break in the middle of the day.

Either you were there on a bad day or I was there on a good day, because the pot roast I had a few months ago was amazingly tasty, cut with a fork tender. Course, now it's gone from the menu anyway, so moot point.

I will agree that it was tender, but my daughter and I found it in edible. We must be in the minority because I've seen other's rave about it too.

sprinkle the 5 lb bag of pre-seasoned panko over the top, adn run them through the salimander before service.

They went from an A to a B- when they made they made the Liberty Boys BLT a healthier imposter of its former self.... But when they took it off altogether? Not sure if I'll ever make it back. I always feel bad cutting into a server's tips by taking up an entire reservation just to have dessert, but the only thing that would get me into the door is my love of the OGTC

I enjoy both lunch and dinner and have a hard time deciding between the 2 meals. So no, I don't think it sucks at all!

I wouldn't say that it sucks. I haven't eaten there since the lunch menu change. But I will say that we cancelled our reservations this February because of the menu changes. We looked forward to the pot roast dinner and will really miss it. Hope they reconsider?

Let me ask you this then. Is the dinner any good?

Dinner is good (haven't done lunch there). Comfort food, nothing fancy. We are total foodies (meals are usually the most important decisions to be made wherever we travel) but it's nice to sometimes go simple. LTT was closed last trip and I was devastated. No characters is good...can always do without the extra chaos.

We have been there several times and enjoyed it. Although, I will admit that it has been several years since we have been there. Not because of the food quality but because there are so many other places to eat on property that we try to vary it up a bit. But I will say if we had the option to eat at LTT or jump the monorail, take a quick break, and eat at O'hana, we are going to run over to O'hana.

A salamander is like a broiler, but its a dedicagted peice of equipment - most commerical kitchens have one. They are used for browinging toppings, melting cheese, etc. Chances are if you have ever ordered nachos in a restaruant, they have taken a trip through a salamander. French Onion soup goes through them as well.

The whole thing about salamanders being born from fire or whatever it is the acient Greeks or Romans of whomever it is believed (I'm too lazy to look up the specifics)
