Am I crazy? Planing a trip in March 2019.

Opinions on doing the second week of March 2019? For the first time in a long time I have that week off. I will have an annual pass at that time and may have annual passes for the kids. There is plenty of room choices right now at Disney but I could stay off property too for the right price.

I went ahead and did it I reserved the room. Now I need to start looking for flights. Going to keep my eyes open if my dates come available on Priceline for my room and waiting for Allegiant to release flights for March. 😊 it’s going to be just me and my twin 7 year olds. Told the kids we are going to share meals at Disney.

Nothing crazy about it at all when it comes to planning a WDW trip. Since your room is booked, keep checking the WDW website to see if your room qualifies for a better rate. You can change your reservation online with the new rate or call them to get it.

Thanks I will do that. I been doing it for my trip in oct nothing has come out that is cheaper that what I booked only upgrading costing me more money. I am starting to get a bit freaked out how busy oct might really be. Thank goodness I am a super planner so hopefully we will still have a good time and now that I know I have a return trip already booked I won’t be stressing trying to ride every ride.

I've stayed at WDW for both the 1st week of March (my best trip ever!) and this past March, we were there the 2nd week. Spring break crowds were beginning so it was more crowded than the 1st week in March but it wasn't intolerable. But it was cold the week we were there - the heat only came back during our last day. My BIL didn't listen to his wife when she told him the weather (bc it's Florida - it's never cold there lol) so he only packed shorts. Needless to say, he was uncomfortably cold most of the trip :) But the Flower and Garden Festival was fantastic as always. I was able to get a fantastic rate at Coronado with the Disney Visa discount they released a few months before the trip.

We have spring break the 2nd week of March. Busier than early summer, but not horrible. Weather is iffy though (or so it's been the last few years). Honestly March was no worse than the 2nd week of October so that might help you compare. We did notice that mornings were definitely less busy than later in the day. Then again it could've been because it was so cold in the mornings LOL

We went Spring Break 2017. I forgot to pack jackets for my daughters. They've got matching Disney hoodies now.

We will be there the third week of March. It's my kids' spring break and my wife has a conference in Orlando. The blackout dates are April 13-26, so that has to be some schools' spring break? We had gone 2 other years for parts of spring break. Definitely busy, but we had a great time.

So March 2017 it was cool, needed to buy jackets. We went around 11 months later, in Feb 2018 and it was hot.

Honestly with crowd levels the way they are all year I say, just go when you can go, it's almost always the same. Skip the Magic Kingdom on a major holiday but other then that WDW is just a crowded place. The most magically crowded place on Earth.
