Am I being irrational?

I realize it's dangerous to invite the members on these forums to give an opinion on another person's mental status but help me understand this please.

My DH and I have a WDW trip planned in April, a mere 71 days from now; so, why is it when a fellow board member says "I'm leaving in 4 hours!", I just want to scream' n-o-o-o-o-o-o'! So, I just respond "hope you guys have a great trip! Take lot's of pictures'! Yeah, right. You know what? I'm still screaming 'n-o-o-o-o-o' the entire time I'm typing my reply. I can't seem to control this.
Am I the only one who does this?

Eh, I feel your pain. 71 days is too long between seeing myself in the mirror with the ghosts. Luckily, I live a half hour from Disneyland these days.

Completely understand and sympathise!

I have over 200 days to go and I'm green with envy everytime someone mentions they're leaving for WDW shortly.

However, keep things in perspective, they will be back before you know it and then you can gloat about your upcoming vacation.

I'm 150 days out and I do feel that "NOOOO" way when I see someone who is closer to going to WDW, but I am genuinely happy for them... I just wish it was me

Yes! I was in a meeting last night and one of the persons there was leaving for Disney immediately following the meeting. I could only concentrate on that. Tell me this is not the meaning of my life.
