Am I a FP+ monster?

First time poster here. This may not be in the "spirit" of Disney but I was thinking about giving it a shot.

Can I buy a 2nd set of park tickets that I wouldn't use until my next trip, assign them to phantom people on MDE, and book a 2nd set of fast passes on these tickets to use in the park? I'm still giving Disney money, and locking in ticket prices now as we all know they will rise. I would use my original tickets (via Magic Bands) to enter park, and "sneak" the 2nd plastic set in to use for extra FP.

Does anyone know if this will work without using the 2nd set of park tickets to enter the park? Or am I just crazy for thinking this?

To OP,is this just hypothetical or if you were sure it would work would you do it?I ask because there has been quite the conversation about the "MK after hours event" and would you pay for that, cause that's not just some extra fp's but a virtually empty park.Oh yeah not to mention "free" ice cream and soda.

The OP said it recently worked. I happen to think the OP is a troll though. I also believe it is tied to entry.

Sorry, not a troll. Perhaps I should have posed my original question on a different board, with different sensibilities. The Disboards had a huge thread about this that I discovered. I hesitate to use the word "ignorant" here, perhaps Disbelievers would fit better, but there is currently a loophole and it's not stupid to lock in ticket prices for a future trip while gaining the ability to use extra fastpasses.

I'm sticking with my "Haters be hatin" comment as "i'm right your wrong" just sounds like sour grapes.

What I described worked. I did it. It took some planning with 4 people and we didn't get to every ride I pre-planned. But by incorporating rope drop in our plans we never waited long for anything. Except the day we were told an animal was "in the wrong section" of the Safari and it was closed most of the morning - FP line was a mess since they honored all FP from the morning.

That MK after hours event is a different animal which I wouldn't pay for - maybe 10 years ago, but now with 2 small children I'd probably fall asleep on Space Mountain.

Like I said, good luck making fastpasses with those tickets for your next trip. Sour grapes? No. I have an AP and live in the area so I go whenever I want and never have trouble getting the fastpasses I want even the day before. BTW you probably are more suited for disboards. Sounds like a perfect fit.

Maybe I should have stuck with being a troll, you are just exhausting and from the little I know about you the perfect mark. 6 FP is better than 3, yes? Not about the ability to get fastpasses, it's about the quantity of fastpasses. Enjoy Florida, and stand your ground Pinny.

Cool,I'm glad it worked for you. I understand not wanting to do an after hours thing with children and amazingly enough full day tickets are cheaper anyway.

Dear OP. I am new(ish). But want to thank you for sharing. If I had extra disposable income (I don't), I would most certainly pay extra for more FastPass+. Time is money in Disney - at least for a family like ours that can only go once or twice a lifetime. Your strategy might not be palatable to most here, but certainly to some.
