Alternate Song Game

[Mansion Butler]

Since the other song game is a hit, I figured I'd see if this idea caught on. It's been a source of fun (and embarassment) on another message board I'm on.

Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 15 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song. (Skip the ones with the title of the song in the first line.)
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Parenthesize the ones that people get.
Step 5: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING! And cheating is BAD

HOLY CRAP! You're officially my friend. I thought I was the only person who had Pavement on their list.

On another message board I've got the opening lines of Shady Lane up and no one's even guessed. The only songs I still have, though, are Shady Lane and Sterio.

I LOVE Pavement! I have two of their cds "Brighten the Corners" and "Wowee Zowee", but it is always nice to find someone who likes these lesser known, amazing bands.
