allstar movies V pop century?

I have stayed in movies but thinking of trying pop this time, would anyone recommend this or go back to movies????:wave:

As far as my family goes..... We would go to Pop. We stayed at both places the last 2 years ...... with movies being the latest, and we thought pop was better. We had standard views at each, same time of year, and just thought with having a dedicated bus stop, + Pop being newer, we liked it more.

We stayed at both as well, and depending what you are looking for if you want more quiet, I would go w/Movies. But if you dont mind the noise, crowds, etc then POP is great! It is more popular because of its dedicated bus line and being newer. If you do stay at POP, gotta try the tie-dye cheesecake, it has a red velvet bottom! Have a great trip! :xmas:

If you do a search about Pop Century, you'll find that many people here prefer it for a lot of reasons: the dedicated bus, the newness of it all, the general theming, and the food court to name a few.

pop century wasnt that crowded when i went.... i just think the movies will be old and need a paint job like all star music did when we went, i'd still go with pop

They are both great resorts. I think you should try Pop, just to try something new. They both have their plusses and minuses. But you will enjoy either way.

I agree, both do have pros and cons. The buses are the biggest draw for Pop and the biggest con for ASMo. I like the food court better at Pop and the pool better at AS. If you want something new and different give Pop a try. Most people here have had good things to say about it.

I've stayed at both and while I loved 'em both, I would recommend Pop. It's newer, more centrally located and you don't share buses with other resorts

we stayed at movies last year and it was great no probs with the transport and the food was good and would go back there but we are going to pop in 07 just to try something diferent.
where ever you go you will have a great time.

I have stayed at the Pop twice and loved it both times!! We are going back there in Feb, as well. It's always fun to try something new and different. I don't think that you will be disappointed!:wave:

I think it depends on who is going with you. If you have younger kids, the theming at Movies is a definite hit over the pop culture and icons that may go over their heads at Pop. However, if you have older kids or are going adults only, Pop is my personal preference for all the reasons others have previously stated. Pop also has a nice lake for walks, etc., and you can get a standard room with a lake view. Hope this helps.

that comes in handy when your tired or if you just dont want to wait any longer but sometimes it is crowded waiting in line for bus, but the crowds get smaller due to their own buses! so yeah let us know which one you pick!:wave:

i have been to both and i liked ASMovies better i thought movies had a better food court, the theming was more to my kids liking, and i didn't think having its own bus made to much of a difference at pop. the rooms and such are almost the same agian being newer didn't seem to make to much of a difference.
