Allegiant to fly to MCO

I did not see it mentioned elsewhere, so...

Allegiant will start service to Orlando International (MCO) from 10 cities in 2010.

Flying into Sanford (SFB) is nice, but it means either renting or hiring a car to get to "the world". Now Allegiant passengers will be able to use Disney Magical Express.

Sweet! We live in Charlotte NC but have family in Knoxville. If it's cheaper, I wouldn't mind driving there & spending the night to get a cheap flight.

We have Allegiant and also AirTran flying out of Knoxville now into MCO. I noticed that the Allegiant fares were around $44 each way for most of Feb. Very excited about being able to use Allegiant and DME:sohappy:

This is really exciting news! Since Allegiant will do that for two airports in TN, I hope that they expand flying into MCO to the Chattanooga airport. Knoxville is still convenient, though, considering the price of Allegiant and cutting out the travel time from the Sanford airport.
