All Reservations taking tips on what to do?

I have heard the opposite. From what I understand, cms see the same thing we do. It's just a matter of whether you want to do the searching or have someone else do it for you. Personally, I prefer to do the searching.

The exception in special stuff like the fireworks parties, etc. Sometimes you are better of calling for those.

Doesn't surprise me that we have heard conflicting information... so much of what gets discussed around here seems to change depending on who has spoken with which CM's or has had varying experiences due to testing, glitches, or whatever lol.

My point was that if a guest is more comfortable with one method over the other, there's no reason to change things up just for the sake of one "working better." I'm like you and prefer to do this stuff myself, but to each his own :)

I'm really shocked that it was so tough. I made mine a couple of weeks ago and just out of curiousity, I've been checking back to see what's still available. The only two which have no availability now are Chef Mickeys and The Crystal Palace for breakfast (and CP only went a couple of days ago). All others still have time slots including 'Ohana (breakfast and dinner), 50s Prime Time, The Garden Grill & Cinderella's Royal Table.

I've heard that the one difference is that CMs can see if there are openings for party sizes other than your exact party size. So we're a party of 2. There may not be any party of 2 openings, but there may be for a party of 4 and the CM could see that. That's my understanding. I hopped on the website at 6 am at my 180 days and got everything, including BOG. In the past I've only ever not been able to get into Le Cellier. All the rest of my reservations always went through though maybe not at the time I initially wanted. It's all about flexibility (I say that as a person with no kids!)

I just made mine for Thanksgiving week with no problem, even got BOG. The only small issue was I would like an earlier time for Chef Mickey's, but Im good if I have to keep what I have. I was kinda worried with it being a holiday week and with free dining (Im sure there were a lot of people like us checking in on 11/20 so they got free dining for the whole week), but it was pretty easy.
