In the Parks
No
They did it for the Christmas DAH.

The real reason is that they need to park cleared before the party, which means the park "closes" at 6 pm. They don't want to encourage day guests to stay in the park, which fireworks would do.

Based on last night they need to HARD CLOSE MK on party nights. No shopping, no food, and no lingering. It was an absolute nightmare trying to navigate between 5:45-7PM. So many folks trying to eat, shop, and just linger as absolutely long as possible because they didn’t have party tickets.

To this day I'm still searching hard for a good transcript of all of the Spectromen's dialogue. The only bits of dialogue I could make out was "Zoom, zoom, zoom", "Look at her!", "Look at him!", "Spectromagic", "Zap!", "Electric Spectromagic", "Electric, Electric, Electric, Electric (laughing)", "Key to energy", and "Sends it round, round, round, round".

Also I'm so glad I wasn’t the only person who been obsessed with the Spectromen's unique dialogue. It was even harder when their voices used to be modified during the parade's early years.
Zip-a-Dee-Zop, Zip-a-Dee-DO! Sticks out in my head.

It's the opposite for me. I actually think the concept art looks really promising. The float designs so far look nice and seem to contain things that I like about the designs in Spectromagic and Dreamlights (not just the blue fairy either as she's literally from Dreamlights). Like particularly the way the lights are placed in a very elegant and organic manner (lots of curves and curls instead of the blocky grid-like patterns as seen in many of Paint the Night's floats).

I'm just concerned that the final product won't live up to the art.

I think the concept art is very vague and doesn’t show us to much. Hopefully the final product is impressive. As far as the Blue Fairy did someone confirm the float is a copy from Dreamlights? Maybe it’s the original Dreamlights Blue Fairy that was swapped out?

If the concept art is accurate I think the Blue Fairy is a slighty different design. Appears to be more swirls.

I decided repost this again to show you guys this video. But, this demo music for Starlight is fan made. We still don’t know what Disney will include what the music will be like. Although, if I have to be honest, I wouldn’t be surprise if Starlight’s music will be a bit similar to this.

I have to agree it wouldn’t surprise me if the real music isn’t to far from this as far as being upbeat. Way off from what we had been thinking the music might be which is a slower waltz.
