All booked and the countdown begins to the disneymoon !!!!!!!

Well we have finally booked all our trip including dinner reservations, hotels and a few extras.

Who: Me (24) and DF (24) we are due to get married on the 9th August and will be going to the magical world for our honeymoon. Neither of us have been to america before so it is exciting. It took me a while to persuade DF that we should go to WDW. Reasons were 1. so expensive that we may as well make it a special occasion. 2. its the one place I have always dreamed of going to after seeing all the adverts as a kid.
When : August 10th - August 30th. We will be flying from Gatwick, London on Virgin.

So I have trailed these boards and the internet for over a year to try and figure out the best way of doing our trip. Could not believe how much there was to think about and how many options there were. So here we go this is what we have booked.

August 10th - Staying at all star sports and are just going to stroll around Downtown as we don't get into Orlando until around 5 and need to do something to curb the excitement.
August 11th - August 15th Disney dream. We are hoping to get the disney bus to the port. We will be doing to glass bottom boat in Nassau and the extreme gateway package on Castaway Key. We are also hoping to have dinner in Remy.
August 15th - August 23rd Staying at Saratoga Springs with the dining plan. We will also go to Sea world in one of these days. The restaurants we have booked are Rainforest Cafe, Ohana, Coral Reef, Be our Guest, Chef Mickey, Rose and Crown, Trex and Boma.
August 23rd - August 27th Staying as Art of Animation Mermaid room. We have for these days booked Victoria and Alberts and also Flying Fish and Le Cellier for food.
August 27th - August 29th Staying on property at Universal studios.
August 29th - August 30th Staying at pop century.

This sounds a lot but we are not the kind of people to relax on the beach all the time. So we thought we would have an adventure instead. We have planned lots of breaks in the middle of the day.
We got a few things left to do such as photopass and little things. But am so excited I feel like I may burst.

Any tips would be helpful

Congratulations, we are on out disneymoon from uk at the same time :) we r there 16tg August till 7th September.

Have you seen the dessert party? We are trying to book this for August, you can't book yet as the calendar isn't out.
We went 2 yrs ago as a holiday and we loved it so much that we wanted to book Disney for our disneymoon.

Our favourite meal was the garden grill, it was amazing, and if you book the times correct you can catch illuminations after. (Epcot)

Have an amazing time and congratulations :)

Congratulations!

When my husband and I went to Disney alone, before having children, one of our favorite adult things to do was visit the monorail hotels and have drinks/apps at the bars. They usually have music or some other form of entertainment. If that is something that would interest you check out the Grand Floridian & Poly for sure. Also, try Tutto Gusto in Italy.

I would also suggest picking another restaurant to replace Rainforest Café. In my experience it is average at best, and can be found in many other cities in the US. The rest of your choices look amazing!

Have a wonderful trip! :)

First. Welcome to the boards. Second- wow, that is an amazing trip you have planned there. Congratulations to you and your soon to be husband. Have a wonderful honeymoon. We did the three day cruise on the Dream last year before spending a week at the parks and it was our best trip ever. Do a trip report when you return so that we can all hear how much fun you had.
