At first I thought this is absolute madness! Now I want to do this. I told my little sister I'd take her to WDW next month, if only she knew what that really means. It's on! haha :devilish:

Never tried that...but I know someone who did the HM ride at Anaheim and Orlando in one day...pretty easy to do that.

The big challenge:

Do the HM in Tokyo, Anaheim and Orlando in one calendar day......its MAY BE possible, because when you fly east from Tokyo, you're going "back in time" calendar day wise. No, unless I was filthy rich and bored I don't think I'd ever try it.

Sounds like a mission i would be able to accomplish. I work for an airline so flying is not expensive at all for me. Maybe ill try to hit all parks in 5 business days

I think the guys at WDWToday did a podcast on this topic.

We have done 4 parks in one day before which was great fun. It was the last day of our vacation and we all got to ride their favourite ride and DH got his beloved Dole Whip

Yes
my 1st thought was - there are only 47 rides between 4 parks? Heck I worked at Disney for a year and thought there were more rides than that!

I wonder if something similar is possible in Disneyland.

I think DLR has about the same number of rides as WDW (give or take a few) The layout of DLR would make this challenge easier. the parks are just across the courtyard from each other and the parks themselves are smaller in size.

My feet hurt just watching this! I'm sure Disney wouldn't want this blowing up. No more multi-day tickets, you can do it all in one:cat: Funny how the rhinos held them up, like "Not on our watch!"

MiceChat hosts an event like this every year at Disneyland, I believe. It's called The Gumball Rally.

Correct me if I'm wrong @raven24 but I think Disneyland has more rides between 2 parks than WDW does between 4. The nice thing about DL is that they're right across from each other so you're not running all over. I would rather take that challenge than the WDW one!

Yes, you are correct! WDW has 47 rides and the DLR has 53. Even with more rides, I agree, I'd take the DLR challenge but not the WDW one. Parks are too spread out in Florida.

..would have been a lot easier to do this on black friday.
It would have (or really on any low season day) Which is why it is all the more impressive they managed to do it on the day they did, lol. It was amazing to watch, but I don't think Id attempt it haha. I think my record is 30 attractions in a day starting at 11 am, though some of those were repeat rides, and it was all in the MK. It's true that it is all in the planning.

A whole lot would need to go in your favor to complete this feat. These guys seemed to be as close as you can get without completing it and only didn't because of the weather. I would try it. I wouldn't think to hop back and forth from park to park though. My thought would've been to get everything done in one park and then move on to the next so as to eliminate the time it takes to go back and forth between parks. But I guess that isn't the best way to go.

Amazing especially with the park hours these days. Wonder what could be accomplished back when 8am openings and 3am closings were more common, if you could do some of the shows/movies as well. Still crazy that they could work things like the Riverboat in.

got several thoughts on this...

1st - does anyone else think that katy, jungle cruise tour guide, looks like one of the spice girls? LOL...
2nd - felt sorry that they didn't make it. they were close. seemed like a lot of crossing the parks and extra park hopping. understand that fastpasses, lines, etc. had a role in that..

3rd- I actually believe that it is doable. here are my thoughts on it though.... could be all wrong, but it wouldn't be the first time. LOL... anyway, here is what I would do.

I would go during a slower period where the parks aren't as packed. shorter lines, that sort of thing. like middle to late September.
I would also do the fastpass+ to get the passes for the rides that are more popular and have longer lines. I would, however, put the passes of the rides in the same park closer together so that the only park hopping that would be done is when each park is complete.
get ride times for all the rides. I know this does not include lines, but at least this way I could get a better idea of how long each ride takes to ride to factor in.
get a map of the parks and see where each ride is located and do my best to calculate time it takes to walk to each ride, guess as best as I could on wait times ( could use a wait time app to get a better idea on that), utilize single ride lines if possible and try not to cross the parks as much as possible to cut down on time in between rides. i'd do what I could to go from ride to ride that are closer together as best as I could instead of crossing the parks. I know this will happen somewhat, but I would do my best to cut that down as much as possible.
i'd probably start off in epcot, then head on over to animal kingdom and knock it out quick, then head on over to hs and knock that out, then finish in mk taking advantage of smaller lines during the electric parade and fireworks display.

Wow, congrats to them! I really want to try this now. If I did try, I'd probably just get lazy and give up by noon :p
