Well I like it but I envision something so much better for Aladdin and the Magic Carpets like flying through scenes in the movie or something. And yes by all means put it in DHS or Epcot so they can have more for girls

i agree there should be a spinner in DHS, but I don't think this one would really be the right fit there, theming-wise. Maybe they could have a star-wars themed spinner? I'm thinking of something with really great night-lighting and sound effects?
The carpet ride is at Walt Disney Studios park at Disneyland Paris and has been themed to be a movie set with Genie as the director who shouts things at you during the ride. Guests play the role of extras.

Aladdin deserves more than just a simple spinner as it's representation in the parks. A dark ride or motion simulator would be much better. The Magic Carpets just seem unnecessary. There are 3 other spinners in MK, it just seems repetitive. They aren't high capacity either so losing it isn't going to make much of a difference in crowds.

Disneyland Paris also has this:

It's an Aladdin dark ride, ON FOOT :D Basically the same thing as California's Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough.

I actually like Magic Carpets.... I mean the little pond was nice, but I don't really miss it. I like the bazaar area too.

I got to sit back, enjoy a Dole Whip, and relax a bit while DW and DD5 rode away on the carpet 5 or 6 times in a row. What's not to love? (You can't beat seeing the smile on a happy child)

Jasmine has always been my daughter's favorite princess. Jasmine usually gets left out of a lot of merchandise and promotion. When our daughter was younger, the Magic Carpets were one of her fav rides. It's still one of our "must dos" at WDW. It needs to either stay or if moved, upgraded to something new IMHO.
