Aladdin DVD

I was wondering, how many people have either pre-ordered Aladdin at their local Disney Store or through DisneyStore.com? Many people are expressing at my store that Aladdin is not their favorite movie and wouldn't be interested in buying it. I was just wondering what people on here thought! I am going to buy it for sure! Love the movie!

I'm definately getting it, it's my favorite of the "early new classics". I just don't know WHEN I'm getting it... Although down here it'll be offered either on its own or as part of a pack, consisting of Aladdin, Three Musketeers and another one. This other one can be Lilo & Stitch, Stitch the Movie, Jungle Book 2, Great Mouse Detective or... THere's another one, won't remember now. :lol:

It's not my favorite either but it's still ONE of my favorites! I am very excited to be getting it on DVD considering my opened VHS copy is pretty worn out and I'm not going to touch my unopened copy!

I think nearly everyone here knows how I feel about Aladdin by now. :lol: :slurp: I am DEFINITELY buying this DVD. The gift set, actually. However, being incredibly greedy and having the patience of a four year old, I don't want to pre-order because I don't want to run the risk of it not arriving in my mailbox on Oct. 5. I will be sitting on my rear at the entrance to BestBuy when they open that morning, and the blessed DVD shall accompany me to class all day (along with the Farscape Season 4 boxed set also being released that day, God-willing!)

I'm not crazy, really, I'm not. :lookaroun

I didn't pre-order it because there's always the chance that it won't show up on October 5th, so I'm just going to buy it. I have been thinking about skipping school that day though..... :lol:

Down here, they don't schedule pre-orders so that they arrive on release day. It's shipped on release, and it usually arrives the next day.

Besides, online prices almost always beat store prices.

As have I.... :lol: Unfortunately, I have my Invertibrate Physiology lab that afternoon, and lab classes + skipping do not mix. :lol:

I preordered today. I'm disappointed with the quality of the lithographs. They look cloudy to me. Anyone else agree, maybe my Disney Store just got a bad set.

I think it may have just been the shipment sent to your store of the lithos. The ones at my store are beautiful and very colorful! Sorry that happened, but thanks for pre-ordering Aladdin (I'm only saying that since I'm a CM at the Disney Store!)

I didn't like the quality of the lithographs either. I also didn't like the scenes they depicted. But I will certainly buy it on DVD. I'm getting mine from target rather than the Disney store so I can save about $8.
