My family will be going back to WDW in late Oct/02 and staying at the Polynesian for 5 nights and the AKL for 4 nights. I have stayed at the Polynesian before and I know which longhouse that I want to stay in, however I have not stayed at the AKL before. We have reserved a Savannah room. Are there any suggestions as to which trail to ask for? Is any view better than others. thanks for any suggestions Dave

I frogot which Savannah we were on, but the view wasn't that great.

The main savannah, Arusha Rock, has the best views.

We stayed at the AKL in May. I think we were on the zebra trail? I can't quite remember. The view was a savannah view....the only bad thing was we were quite a hike from the entrance, but got to see different animals everyday, and some were quite close. Less traffic.....room was quiet.

I've never had the pleasure of staying in either resort! I'm sure you'll have a great time in whatever room you end up in! Have a Fab trip and please tell us about it.....I live thru the trip reports!
