AKL room layout question

Does any one know if you get a little more space in the bunk bed rooms at the AKL since they are only twin size(take up less space)? Also.....does all the handicapp rooms have a full daybed(like Poly), or those single pullouts? My mom needs the daybed to sleep on like a sofa, since she cannot sleep on a bed comfortably.
Thanks.

The bunk bed rooms seem like they have a bit more room although the are the same size. As for a day bed, I haven't seen any at the Animal Kingdom Lodge....

The bunk bed rooms do have a little more available floor space, but they actually feel smaller when you're in them. Because of the height of the bed you can't see the wall behind it which makes the room feel smaller.

I agree with DONSULLIVAN!

We had bunks in both the AKL and Wilderness Lodge, and they really made the rooms feel smaller, as they were floor to ceiling dark wood and blocked that whole side of the room. They seemd dark, too, as the bottom bunk gets almost no light from the room lighting.
