AKL really impressed me

As someone who does that walk when we stay at the BC, it'd be nice to have the option.

I agree with you here. When we stay at YC, we never take the boats to HS, rarely from HS. Never to Epcot! That walking option is fantastic.

Just came back from CB. What a mistake. Stayed at AKL last year. Like night and day. AKL is just awesome in every way.

Yeah, AKL is my favorite. Stayed there for a week for my 40th. Awesome, all around.

Every time we step into the lobby it takes my breath away.

AKL is our home resort and we love it. We have tried other DVCs but I think I actually like the remote location. It helps you escape from the craziness that is WDW. I find it is really relaxing and the staff is always friendly.

I have had one issue in all of my stays there. In December the master bath hair dryer wasn't working and for 3 days I kept calling and nicely just letting them know it was still not working... On the final day I was checking out and told the front desk, because I didn't want them to think I broke it. And they put a $100 credit on my room account, which covered all of our tips we had put on the room for the 4 days... It was really amazing they went above and beyond and I wasn't expecting anything.I jJust wanted to let them know, so the next guest didn't have the issue.
