AK to MK??

Hi! We have Be Our Guest dinner reservations on our Animal Kingdom day so we plan to go from AK in the AM to BOG at MK then back to AK for River of Lights (I know this is not ideal but it is the only way for us to see River of Lights). Right now we have the Flight of Passage fast pass but the Navi River is available. I am going with a group of my friends so the park hopping doesn't bother us.

Should we:

A. Navi River at rope drop during extra magic hours
2:35-3:35 Flight of Passage
then go to Magic Kingdom for BOG at 4:50

or

B. Flight of Passage at rope drop during extra magic hours
2:10-3:10 Navi River
then go to MK for BOG at 4:50

C. Cancel BOG and enjoy the whole day at AK. BOG is OK, but I just don't understand the thinking behind interrupting your day to go there then back to AK. Such a waste of time IMHO. I see so many people on here planning their trip around ADRs and it just confuses me. And, there are plenty of good places to eat at AK.

Or cancel plans to go back for ROL.

Were you planning to stay and watch HEA after dinner? Just not sure of timings right now. I think you should decide which is more important to you, ROL or BOG dinner, and not try to do both on the same night. Too stressful wondering if you'll make it, even with the express transport option.

Unfortunately that is not an option because I am traveling with some big Beauty and the Beast fans who *hope* to see the Beast. We also have breakfast reservations but want to go for the dinner experience. Thanks though!

We are seeing HEA another night so we would not stay after dinner. ROL is scheduled for 8:45 the night we plan to see it. I think we will consider the express transportation option for the perk of skipping the lines to enter the parks.

Why not go to HEA THIS night and then hop once from MK to AK on the previously-planned HEA night? I also echo what another person said about just skipping Be Our Guest. There's much better food at Animal Kingdom and/or Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I would rethink this plan altogether and focus on trying to find BOG dinner reservations for a different day or making a tough decision about where your priorities lie. Park hopping is a hassle and between your tight turn around times and working with reservations/shows with set times you have almost no wiggle room. To me, this sounds like a recipe for fraught tensions and disappointment on one end or the other (or both).

By trying to cram all of this into 4-5 hours I would worry that the Pandora rides, BOG, AND RoL will all be rushed because people in your group are looking forward to the next thing or worried about making it in time. In turn all 3 will be less fondly remembered because of the rushing here and there. Disney experiences (in my opinion) are designed to be savored and enjoyed so that you can look back on the time you spend with family, making memories with people and not with schedules that didn't live up to expectations.

I would agree with others about taking up lots of time to go to MK for a dining ADR. But if you must do it, you sound like a new candidate for the Minnie Van. I'd do A. I noticed that the FoP FP+ was harder to get. Do Navi River at Rope Drop then immediately FoP. You could probably do both in the same hour.
