First pics are of the construction of the new Animal Kingdom table service restaurant contruction. Where once there was a forest, now there is nothing but a Catapillar backhoe.

Second, the Monkey moat has been drained and cleaned of debris.

Third, um, temp night time lighting for the bridge above the reflecting pool at Flame Tree Barbeque? There were two lights at both ends of the bridge, both had very dark colorful gels so me thinks it is just temp for the early sunsets.

This Asian-themed restaurant with retail is reminiscent of the western Himalayan foothills in India and Nepal, featuring a rural village called Anandapur in a jungle with a tiny town-like mass at its center. Asia will offer full service table dining, as well as quick service food. This Asian-Fusion concept will feature Asian decor, complete with Asian antiques, as well as a retail component that will offer Asian goods ranging from Sushi plates to chopsticks and fine teapots.

"One of the major factors that drew us to this transaction was the chance to expand our operations with Disney," said Landry's President, Chairman and CEO Tilman J. Fertitta. "Our existing three Rainforest Cafes located at Downtown-Disney(R), Disney's Animal Kingdom(R) Theme Park and Disneyland Resort in California generate approximately $80.0 million in revenue. That is the right side of Caravan Stage structure where the show "Flights of Wonder" takes place.

oh pity they havent tried to cover the area up with some big potted plants/bamboo.i know its essential building work but that area was a lush green dense area and a great photo spot on the broken statue now its a bit bleak and open.
