I was just wondering if anyone knew if the WDW resorts offered any transportation to and from the airport, or if anyone does? I figured that we could catch a cab, but I just figured I would check and see about any busses or other options given by the WDW resorts......Thanks for any help:D

Mears buses run from the airport about every half hour to every Disney resort as well as some off site hotels. It costs $26 round trip per person and you can book it right at the desk at the Orlando airport. I have used Mears 2 or 3 times and I haven't had any problems with it. I think it is definately the cheapest way to go and they take you right to your resort.

Give our transportation sponsor, http://www.quicksilver-tours.com/ a try. They will give you a personal meet and greet at the airport, and take your party directly to your resort in a luxury towncar. It is also cheaper than Mears or a Taxi depending on your party size. Rough price is around $90 roundtrip for your entire party.
Have a great trip! :)

Definetly try QuickSilver Transportation. You won't be dissapointed!!!!!! I have tried two other companies and this is the best by far.

Here's an idea that I've been throwing around about airport to resort transportation. What about renting a car at the airport for 1 day? Take it to your resort and if you aren't going to WDW that day or night, you can use the car to go to the grocery, dinner or even City Walk at Universal. Within the 24 hour period, you can return it to one of the hotels at Downtown Disney and walk or catch a shuttle to Downtown Disney itself from where you can get transportation back to your resort. The Hilton has an Avis counter and the Doubletree has a Budget counter. The Dolphone also has an Alamo/National counter. I don't think they assess any drop off charge by returning to a different location, since it's so close to the airport. Probably runs 35+ per day, which is a lot cheaper than Mears shuttle or a towne car or whatever else. Just be sure that the car counter is open at whatever location you return it to, when you return it.

Another way to save a few bucks if renting a car is to join the frequent renter program for that rental company. You can usually save money on the rental and in Orlando, most have quick pick up or return so you don't have to wait in line so long.

Just an idea......................21 days & counting!

For me the best part of going on vacation is being able to relax and not worry about driving from the airport to your resort. The roads are usually under construction and if you go on vacation you want to spend every moment enjoying it not having the hassle of rental companies. As I said before you can't beat going with QuickSilver Town Cars. Its well worth the money and the time you save is priceless.....

I have used another company, and loved the fact that we set up all return info. on arrival date, that way I don't have to call the night before. Does Quicksilver do the same?

JMHO and certainly not intended to be rude, but, if you are going to use a limo service at WDW you should try the person that puts their money and reputation on the line by sponsering a bulletin board that people can get advice for free.
To me, that speaks reams about the quality of the business. They have, in essence, put their money (and reputation) where there mouth is.

Quicksilver was great! We used them for our most recent trip 7/22-7/29. I had suggested them to a co-worker based upon the reviews I've read on this website. Now that I've used them, I'm thrilled to be able to give her my own review. I admit, I was a bit nervous suggesting a company I had never used to somebody I work with but the forum reviews did help keep the jitters in check.
