AI and Theme Parks

As you all are aware, AI is a game changer in pretty much every field. So, how does it apply to theme parks?

I would love to hear how y'all think this will impact the parks.

I guarantee they use AI in tracking data and determining prices, but how can AI be used in park operations? Predicting staffing levels? What roles can be automated? Inventory management? Are there any creative roles AI can perform? Automated transportation from resorts to parks?
So we already know that at one of the All Star's (I forget which specifically) but they were using new self-checkout tech to replace human cashiers at the resort's food court, which I believe used some kind of rudimentary AI tech integration. IMO that is only the start of the cast member roles they wanna automate. Looking forwards, I could see the Living Character Initiative reborn with robotic (IE Boston Dynamics, think the recently-spotted Dart animatronic at Epic Universe) walk around characters that replace human performers, with a single human cast member handler to control their movements around the park.

Have we not learned from The Simpsons?

The only way(s) I see AI changing the park experience is, as mentioned by ParadoxPortals above, are self-checkout at hotel cafeterias and having AI replace actors at Turtle Talk, Laugh Floor, other interactive characters, etc.

Maybe resort/vacation planning, but Genie should that planning trips to the minute isn't the best experience.

More non-guest facing uses will be utilized versus anything that impacts the actual guest experience.

Probably a little further in the future... but I could see Disney using AI to target High Rollers that aren't having a great day.

AI scanning every guests spending habits, hotel stay, as well as how their day is going.

For example, a first time visitor booked a club level room at a deluxe hotel. They have had multiple rides break downs, waited a very long time for food, ect.

AI could poke the app to "pixie" dust them with free LLs. It could also inform cast members at snack stands to make this one "on the mouse" or even alert parade characters to watch out for them and specifically wave to that group. Alert house keeping to put some extra magic in their room. Make sure a bus is dispatched to take them back to their hotel as they leave the park. Provide them a customized bounce back offer. Don't stop this particular family at the standby/LL merge point.

AI would be tasked with minimizing expenditure to maximize returning business (what's the loss of a couple mickey pretzels if you can get the group to book a new $10,000 trip.
