The Rofflecopters, just so you know, is merely a means to get your attention.

I seemed to notice, as I was strolling around these here forums that you actually had a gaming thread. *Gasp!*
But I was dissapointed when I found that there was only a few threads, and that the only game worth mentioning within it was KH2, which only went over 'summoning.'

So we come to the point of the ever important first post: It is with great hope that I create this thread for those who wish to speak of gaming. Next Gen, innovation, gameplay, storylines, favorite franchises, favorite charactors, favorite types of games, est.


And, I am to going to begin this opening with a FFVII video.

Yea not much video game talk here at all. I find it kinda funny because every disney cartoon has a video game. You would figure people would be talking about the Disney stuff at least.

I am not a big FF guy but I love RPGs. The next gen game that I am waiting for is Fable 2 for 360. I loved the first and the 2nd is sounding very cool. Also for the 360 Mass Effect looks fantastic! Bioware looks to have put a lot of effort into this one. I am also waiting for some sort of news on Knights of the old republic 3. :sohappy: The first is one of my all time favorite games.

The main game I play is counter-strike 1.6, and other half-life 1 and 2 mods. Some starcraft, and warcraft 3 too. I tried playing WoW at one point, but I really didn't like it. I've been playing cs for about 2 and a half years now and it seems that I can't really get enough.

Do you mean Fable The lost chapters, or are they coming out with a another one? I liked the Lost Chapters, it's definatly one of the better rpgs for the Xbox.
I am a huge RPG junkie myself. erasure-kun, If you would like I have a few rpgs I could recommend to you.


By the way, DOOP!-kun, how was cs? I've been meaning to try it out for quiet some time now.

As for next gen, i'm really looking forward to the Wii and it's innovative ways. Unlike some fans, I don't mind the new name, although I do aggree it isn't the best name in the world.
I like the fact that Nintendo is focusing on innovation for the next generation, instead of mainly focusing on HD and such. High definition is great and all, but that's not what games should be based on.

Are you guys Zelda fans as well? I can't really find an accurate date for the release of Twilight princess. One site said next year, and another one said it was already out, and so on...

I love cs because I love fps's. Although it's an old game, the game play is astounding. I can't think of any other game that is as satisfying as cs. Like I said, I REALLY can't get enough of it. Be warned, it can be fairly addicting. :lol:

1. The lost chapters was just extra content added to fable. The 2nd is a whole new game for the 360 set 500 yrs later. It sounds very cool. You can jump now and its free-roaming. They have not said much but what they have I cant wait to see.

2. Although I am getting the 360 I do think Nintendo was smart for going after innovation and not power. I am going to get the 360 but I do like what the Wii is doing. For me its the games I like to play and the 360 has them.

3. I like Zelda a lot, the best was the ocarina of time (imho) TP will be out for the Wii at launch but the game cube version not for a few months after from what I have read. I guess in Japan you have to order it for the game cube you cant buy it in a store, so who knows what will happen here.

3: :mad: Grrr... Well I hope it comes out sooner then later. I hope i'll be able to get a copy when it comes out, although I have a feeling non-preordered versions will be hard to obtain...

They only had 400,000 units for the U.S. and Canada. Its the blu-ray drive and cell chip thats giving Sony the trouble. I am wondering why so many wanted the system NOW, none of the great games are going to be out till late next year. I bet a lot of the people waiting in line to get it just want to re-sell on ebay for twice the price.:(

In other news, the Wii is incredibly awesome and very innovative ^^ Zelda is beautiful and WiiSports is a LOT more fun than I expected!

I know someone who bought a PS3. They took it apart and fried an egg on the disc drive. -_-'
