No
Disagree. I believe HS will no be no more actually. After Star Wars and Toy Story come about, what we know as Hollywood Studios now (or what was once the great MGM studios) will die out. It will be completely changed from the dying studios we know today.
Will need a name change for sure

Love GMR and love old movies. It's not about the facade anymore. It's kinda like putting "Frozen" at EPCOT. HATE IT.
So the attraction will have us watching a Mickey cartoon before being pulled into it. It's perfect to be set in a theater. It will be more immersive than GMR so it will be a more appropriate setting.

Yes my opinoin and probably Walts as well if he could see the things put out now. Walt recognized his own limitations as an artist/ animator early on in his career and he hired animators that had training that met his high standards of ability that would improve his studio and the art that was drawn. He also sent them to art school and hired art instructors to come in to the studio to teach and improve upon their abilities. There were many occasions Walt held up the release of projects because of inferiorly drawn scenes. He continued to critique character sketches and held them back until he approved of their type and structure. He was happy with the improvements that were made to the drawings of Mickeys character, better structure and form and said the new Mickey was an improvement over his own earlier 1920s drawn mouse.
Look at the characters Walt had at Disneyland when it opened, now that's a bad Mickey.

I think it's impossible to say if HS will be the best only because of how different Galaxy's Edge will be from any theme park area ever. A fully immersive land where your actions have consequences? Could be the best thing ever or could flop hugely outside of Star Wars fans. That's the one thing that worries me about the new land, it sounds like it will take some work to be there. This is vacation, I don't want to think, lol. Although I'm a huge Star Wars fan.

I would disagree, especially with the Tron coaster coming to MK. However, DHS will get a big lift with the new lands coming online in 1-2 years and I am sure a name change to fit a Disney only movies theme park. I expect to see some theme change to the Tower of Terror, once the new lands are operating, to tie together all the different products the studios offer.

I think its time to forget about "themes". Every park with the exception of the MK has had its original theme violated many times over. Its still WDW, but no longer a collection of theme parks.
Your right... they are now a collection of Themed Parks. You guys get way to hung up on the theme thought. Most of the time people don't even know what it means. Yes, originally Epcot had a specific theme. (Edutainment/Future/World), so three) But, now it is a more distinctive collection of different themes. The same will apply for DHS which really started out as a park built around a working studio. That has been gone so long that to define a specific theme anymore would be impossible, however, it is still filled with themed areas as well as attractions. Just enjoy what is there and what is going to be there. Experience them and have fun with it just like you would have if they had built a new park called Potpourri. Even MK consists of six different themed lands. The only thing about it that even slightly relates to a Kingdom would be the castle.
