I don't think there are any new effects. But I will have to check it out and see.

I did see a video clip of some of the game and I did think the story was cute. I actually watched it where as when I played Kim I'd just keep hitting next to just do the effects

After seeing this thread, I ran over to Epcot to check it out. According to the agent I talked to, I missed testing by about an hour. I'll give it another shot tomorrow, earlier.

Soft opening.. No Some random testing .. yes

So far I know Norway, France, and Germany will be getting some new stuff, maybe the other pavilions later on.

We got to play test it on Saturday. It was in Japan. The storyline was new, but none of the effects were new. Two new things that we liked are, that they ask you for an initial from your name, and during the game they called us "agent V", also, there is now a bleeping sound every once in a while which signals users to let someone else hold the phone, if you want. This would be great if you have more than one child playing together. I can bet that there was lots of fighting over holding the phone! Oh, the game also had a multiple choice question about what you have to find. It was an observation question like "what are the beams on the ceiling made of". We liked this because it made you look up and all around the pavillion.

Several elements for the game are still being implimented so I cannot see how a soft opening for the entire area is possible just yet. I believe they are only doing testing on a few of the completed effects to train cast members.

My wife and I were at Epcot yesterday and "tested" Germany, Japan, France, and UK. It is a lot of the same effects with all new dialogue. Germany and France definitely had new effects added. Their were two Imagineers who spent most of the day in France watching guests play paying particular attention to the new "finale" effect. Its very cool to see, but not exactly groundbreaking by any means... :) Also, we were the very first to sign up for the day and we were given Germany to start in, but apparently that was a mistake as we caught the same field agent later who told us it was a mistake as he was not able to sign any others up for Germany. Again, very neat finale, which I believe was highlighted on the Disney blog some time ago, but again, not groundbreaking. Overall, very happy with the conversion from Kim Possible to Agent P, but definitely no new "wow" moments.

The actual soft opening is set for this Friday, where most things were will be operational. Norway still has a few extra ones. The finale will be different when finished completely, notice on the F.O.N.E. when it comes to the finale, it tells you to step up to the railing? That should be a hint. There are also new items at China, Germany, and France and others will be added later, they just tried to get open soon as possible because of the summer season.

Steve, the news report isn't quite 100% accurate, while the sets are mostly the same, there are some changes, they are not identical...

Glad to hear there are some more things to come!

My kids and I are looking forward to this. Does anyone know roughly how long it takes to complete all of the missions? We're planning to do this in the evening when it's cooler, but I want to make sure we have enough time to finish the game.
