After the cruise and transfers

Hello all. Sorry in advance if this question or something similar has been asked/answered before in another thread. We booked a land/sea vacation next year. We're flying in a few days before the cruise and renting a car. We'll be returning said car the morning of the cruise somewhere in Port Canaveral (not sure what rental company we're using but if someone can advise on which one would be the best to use in terms of ease of return and ability to get to the port we're all ears). Here is where my question comes in. When returning from the cruise we'll be spending a few days @ THE WORLD :D:D :D;) . Everything being equal would it be faster to rent a car and drive or take a transfer to MCO and take the ME from there? Thanks in advance for the advice.

You can take the transfer back to WDW instead of MCO. Then it would be pretty close on speed. The busses have gotten us to WDW really early before. :)

Falcon is right. The transfer is the same price if you go back to MCO or a resort at WDW. We were at Boardwalk just a little over an hour after we cleared immigration.

Whatever you do don't rent AVIS....ever major rental comapny had vans and buses ready for 7:30 or earlier...avis strolled in at 7:45 with not enough transportation for everyone there

That's really good news Thanks. Do we have to drag our luggage with us or will Disney deliver to the resort for us?

No Avis. Got it. We want to get to the port and on the ship as early as possible and don't want to spend anytime in a rental car lot. Thanks.

You take your luggage. It's pretty painless though. Disney takes it off the ship, you pick it up in customs. Then you take it to the bus. When you get of the bus, you give it to bell services or drag it to your room if it's ready.
