After Labor Day Crowds w/Dining Plan

Now that it is after Labor Day and all the schools are back in session, does anyone know how the free dining plan is affecting the, what should be very low, crowd levels?

I assume that crowds are more than usual for September but was hoping that they are still low.

Thanks.

I don't know about the dining plan but I went on my hineymonn in 2002 the week after Labor Day we walked on just about every ride, and were able to stay on a few for another turn. Loved going right after Labor Day but now we have a child who has school.

I am leaving tomorrow. Disney actually called a few days ago to say, they see we are coming to WDW in a few days and wanted to make sure we made our dining reservations as restaurants are very busy given the free dining plan offer for September. We went last year in September with the free dining. Most restaurants were very busy. In fact, we tried to change some reservations while down there and had a hard time as there were no open time slots at many of the restaurants. Of course, if you have flexibility to eat very late you should be fine. I recommend you get most of your dining reservations in advance. You can always try to change or cancel later.

I agree with the comments that hte crowd levels for the actual parks and attractions are very light (especially Mon-Wed).

Only 17 hours until our flight --- YEY!!!

I have gone the weekend after labor for a few years in a row and it has been getting a little more crowded each year including last year it was harder to get next day Seating I had the dinning plan. Im leaving on friday and have all my Dinning booked for the week but canada was completely booked. Even though the dinning is more crowded it didnt seem to effect the crowds in the lines. So i dont think it will be to bad this year but i'll post when i return

Show up at Canada 15 minutes before opening. You may be able to score a table. That's how I eat there!

I plan more than most. You could say I am a planaholic. So I made ALL my reservations a long time ago. My brother-in-law is going the same time as me and has not yet made all his reservations. I fear he may find himself looking through the window, watching me eat, while he is turned away.

In fact everyone I know - (Non-Disney freaks like me) - Make fun of how much I plan. Several of them have gone to Disney World and they have all come back saying that it wasn't that great. Come to find out, they didn't know what they were doing and they didn't listen to anything I told them. Saying things like, "I don't think we rode space mountain but we saw that tiki birds thing." Bottom line - I plan - I know what I'm doing and where I'm going - My family and I have loads of fun.

And by the way - THANKS TO ALL FOR YEARS OF GREAT INFO!
