Hello all!

I just wanted to see where you all thought was a great place for after dinner cocktails on property. My wife and I are eating at Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge and will have the whole night free. As always I really appreciate the feedback!

Take a boat over to Contemporary and visit the Outer Rim Bar. Not the quietest location, but comfy seats and view of the lake. Then hop a Monorail over to the Poly for a stop at the Tambu lounge and a Lapu Lapu. Finally take a walk with your cocktail over to the Grand Floridian to Mizner's Lounge for your nightcap. Once you are done grab a boat to the MK and you can take bus or boat back to your resort.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
The bar right next to/adjacent to Artist Point The Territory Lounge is a great cozy spot to try. Have great drink menu and great small bites in case you get hungry again. Lol :)
Also the new Trader Sam's is an awesome unique experience to try at the Poly. Lots of cool specialty drinks (in several different cool souvenir glasses etc) the most unique lounge on property. :)

Thank you both! Great ideas! One of the perks for sure for staying on property is the not worrying about driving after a few cocktails.

Are the souvenir glasses plastic or glass? I would be interested if they were glass, but will pass on the plastic!

Glass, with the exception of the non-alcoholic drinks and the pearl. The glasses are pretty amazing!

And the boat thingy from 20,000 leagues drink for multiple people to share, is plastic I believe but a sturdy plastic. I don't think that one is glass but don't quote me. :)

Went to Trader Sam's on Monday afternoon, the Nautilus is made of glass, and rather heavy. I liked the Uh-Oa better, myself.

Oh cool I don't know why I was thinking the Nautalis was a heavy plastic. Lol. We didn't get one of those yet so I had never held it myself. And yeah the Uh-Oa is really cool. :)

It's some kind of pottery or painted porcelain. I drank two myself but don't judge me :hungover:

Won't judge! Hehe I have been known to put down some serious alcohol in my day every single weekend. Try 15+ shots of jäger while drinking numerous screwdrivers were my past faves,I repeat past 2 fave drinks! Haha! Now that I am in my 30's there is no way I could do that and still be coherent. And I would need a month to recover!! Amazingly I was always coherent and not sloppy in those days. Don't know how I did it every single weekend!!!
And yeah the other poster mentioned it was not plastic and I'm glad it's not I may have to get one the next time we are in WDW. :cat:

This is a nice spot, but if you want to go elsewhere, Narcoossee at the GF has a nice bar. If you get there around fireworks time, you can take your drink outside on the deck as the music is piped in!

If you want other ideas, The AKL bar at Jambo House is a nice spot. Sanaa at Kidani also has a cool bar. You can take your drinks outside on the walkway and check out the safari view while talking to CMs that are knowledgeable about the animals! We have done all of these and really enjoyed ourselves.

Also, the Crews Cup (I think thats the name) adjacent to the Yatchsman at the YC is a favorite of ours. Always friendly staff and good drinks!

Can you go the the bar at Cali Gril to get drinks. Great view from there.

Either way, enjoy the night.

The best places for drinks at the resorts are:

Bellvue Room (BWR) * best Bloody Mary's
Cabana Bar and Beach Club (Dolphin)
Crew's Cup (YCR)
Mizner's Lounge (GFR) * try the Pama Grand Cocktail
River Roost (PORS)
Rix Lounge (CSR) * easily the best martinis on property
Scat Cats (POFQ)
Territory Lounge (WL)
Trader Sam's (I prefer outside) * the Tahitian Torch is amazing
Victoria Falls (AKL)
Wave Lounge (CR) *the Florida Organic Orange Vodka is really good as a shot or drink
