I'm going June 24th :D

(Oh, and I scored myself floor seats for Van Halen too!!!) :sohappy:

I'm not the tallest thing on Earth...so while on the floor for VH...I'll be singing..."I wish I was higher and higher...up in the stands....I wish I was higher and higher...above the fans..."

Heading for the great escape.
Last time I saw them they were pants, music was ok but their heart definately wasnt in it and the only played about an hour.

But I would give them another chance.

Saw them at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta last Friday (4/9/04). They were excellent!!!!

I was sick as a dog, but I went anyway. We were in row P, which is 15 rows back on the floor. Okay seats, but I'm short.....
Anyway, off the main stage there was a 70 foot walkway in the middle of the floor seats. The band entered the arena from the back and were escorted the "center stage" where they opened up with Toys and then launched into Elevator. Then they headed for the main stage (removed the drums, etc.). Steven, Joe & Brad came down the walkway numerous times. A friend of mine was working as an usher and took my daughter to the front just in time for them to play "Jaded" (her favorite song). She was so excited!!!!! She got to touch the scarves when Steven dipped the mic in front of her.

Anyway, they came on around 9:20pm and played a full two hours. All the old favs and at least four tracks from "Honking on Bobo" (kickbutt cd).

Aerosmith is not done by a long shot, you will get another chance to see them before they get too old to rock. Steven Tyler kicks @ss at 56 years of age!!!!

Steamboat Kevin has already heard this story, I promised to pm a concert update after we got back (sorry for the repeat).

Rock On!!!!!!!!!
