Advice on November Planning

Free dining....I LOVE IT! We're going back to Disney after having been away for 3 long years specifically, November 2014! But...with the 180 day mark approaching and being able to secure our table ressies, I'm not sure how to go about planning our restaurants when I'm not even sure yet of what the park hours or Fireworks schedule will be for November.

What can I do? Look at historical park hours and firework times for past Novembers?

Thanks!

You can find the November park hours under Info/Operating Hours here on WDWMagic. You'll be able to see the times for parades, Wishes, etc. Have a great trip and I'm glad you were able to take advantage of free dining.

Thank you! Didn't think to check this site! I've only been checking WDW. Woo Hoo

We've been the 15th-21st and will be going the 7th-12th this year. On the first trip...Thanksgiving was early that year...but before the Thanksgiving crowds came in, it was pretty quiet.

Went last year the week before Thanksgiving. Great weather. Very low crowds, lots of 1 and 2 crowd days on a 1-10 scale. They will have most of the Christmas decorations out so you should be able to see Osbourne Lights at DHS and MVMCP if you want. I think that week could be one of the top 5 weeks to visit all year. Good choice. Enjoy.

Oh this makes me SOOO happy to hear! We are going the very week before Thanksgiving, 16 - 22, and I have never seen the Kingdom all decorated for the Holidays. I can not wait! Happy Planning to all!

Definitely plan to be at DHS one night. Osborne Lights were amazing. If you can swing it MVMCP was pretty cool too, but it's kinda pricey. If you get a chance to explore some hotels the gingerbread house at GF was pretty cool and the giant Christmas tree at Wilderness Lodge too.

Great news I have always gone in Dec and its so crowded the first two weeks I said never again.. Hub was unbearable during fireworks.. Its still Christmas so I will love it. It is the most magical time to be there for sure during their Christmas decorations. I will never go in late Jan again its boring quiet and not a bit fun when NOONE is there... Cant wait all booked and now on to paying out!!!

So many of us going at the same time! Nov 11-18 at CBR!

Good luck to everyone getting their ADRs this weekend and next week! I can't wait to hear where everyone is going!

We went the same week last year with free dining and just loved it! It was our first time seeing it decorated for Xmas and our first MK Party! We had a blast and the weather is great too!

Happy planning!

I'll be going over ADRs all weekend and making lists of contingency plan LOL. Why is this so stressful? Have a great ADR day next week.

The other day when we finalized everything, in the middle of planning we both just started cracking up because of how silly we were getting about changing our plans and adding more dining and trying to make it all work! We were like really??? But that's one of the reason it's fun! Trying to put all the pieces together!

Just FYI, the last time we went in November, Disney extended all of the park hours a week before our trip. This resulted in all the parade and firework times changing. Always, always, always check the hours. They are subject to change with no advance notice.

We'll be there from 10/28 to 11/21 and at Disney specifically from 11/09-21.

My ADR day the next 13th and I'm hopeful we'll be able to get all our must-dos.
