Advice for LTT

I've made reservations at LTT for Sept. 27. My husband has major food allergies (he can't have any starch, sugar or lactose). I told the person on the phone making my reservation (do you call him a CM?) and I didn't find him to be very helpful. He said that particular allergy wasn't on "the list". He marked "other" and noted my husband's allergy and then told me that the computer said that the menu didn't accommodate that (or something like that). I feel confident that my husband would be able to eat there - meat without the seasoning, steamed vegetables without butter, salad (veggies only) without the dressing. I made the reservation anyway and he suggested I speak with a server when I got there. Shouldn't I do something else? I've read lots of great testimonies about how accommodating they can be about stuff like that, but what should I do? - call LTT directly? call Disney dining again and hope to get someone more helpful? wait until I get there? Help!

If you are talking about the Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner, they may not be able to accomodate special requests, since this meal is served family style. I think they can accomodate food allergies better at a regular sit-down restaurant, where each meal is prepared separately.

Oh dear.. *sigh*

Call them back - ask for the Dietary need number for LTT. Some restaurants need 7 days notice, others just the 48. Get someone to really look over the allergy policy ther, and if they sound clueless ask to speak to Guest Services about it.

Edit to add: Some places really can't accomodate some allergies (Mitsukoshi in Japan comes to mind for some reason) but most places can. The allergy set in reservations is jsut a general list - they obviously can't list everything, it by no means says what the restaurant is limitted to though)
