The Adventurer's Club is part show, part experience. By experience I mean the characters inter-mingle with guests in the club chatting about their crazy adventures and poking fun at some guests (nothing that should offend you). There is also a show with singing and lots of crowd interaction.

I had a blast there in 9/2001 on my last visit to WDW. If you're in Pleasure Island it is definitely worth checking out!

Kongaloosh! Is all you need to say upon entering the AC. Its a nice escape on PI if your not into dancing or loud music. Its extremely eclectic, full of eye candy. There is a show running fulltime akin to dinner theater and there is no safe place in the AC where the action will not take place with you involved! I tried to be a wallflower and the tiki masks on the wall came to life and started talking to me, a light came on and I was in the show! Kongaloosh my fellow adventurers!

If you're shy, stay away. It is true that there is no escaping the action. I went with 5 people on my last trip... one of whom didn't want anything to do with it... so she hid in a corner where she thought no one could see her. Well, let's just say the AC is outfitted with cameras that found her and made her part of the action... it is just such an insane... and insanely wonderful... place. Go, laugh, sing... drink.. sing... drink.. drink

Hello my fellow adventurers! I recommend this website if you need a definative description www.adventurersclub.net
I am the biggest fan of the Adventurers Club EVER! Once you go inside go straight downstairs and order a drink. If one of the characters spot you hanging around up there they will start announcing (in a nice way!)to everyone that NOTHING goes on up there! As the night goes on and the children thin out the jokes get a bit more suggestive, think of british "carry on" films. Be prepared to sing loudly and learn the club motto/wave/song!
Every show and skit is different, all of them will involve audience participation and it doesn't matter where you sit! When I went with a friend who didn't want to be picked on she insisited we sat at the back of the room and promptly got her chair moved with her still in it (they are all on wheels!) with the announcement "hey there put the virgin sacrifice back!!"

I hope this gives you an idea of the madness that is the AC! Any more questions just ask!

The Adventures Club Is Considered By Many To Be The Best Club On Pleaseure Island. I Have Been Going There Since It Opened. The Cast Of Caracters Are Some Of The Most Talented Group Of People Ever Asembled. Although I May Be Biased With Regards To This. So Go In And Sit Down And Order A Kungaloosh (The Club's Official Drink) And Enjoy.

Well thats the thing with the AC you either "get" it or you don't but you can still have a great time.
I personally don't "get" all the fuss about MK, its a wonderful park but I would rather go to Epcot!

I am going to have to drag my in-laws and my brother in here one night. It sounds like my cup of tea (but my brother is a wall-flower until he warms up to you then he is the biggest ham of them all)!

Can't wait to try a 'Kungaloosh'!!:sohappy:

Be warned that they are very potent! Its a fruity mix of crushed ice, Captain Morgans Original Spiced Rum, blackberry brandy, strawberry and orange juice. They also put a big dollop of whipped cream on the top but I always have mine without.
