Adventureland?

If anything I think the overall aesthetic needs more work than the attractions themselves. Like others have mentioned, the Magic Carpets and Aladdin area completely ruins whatever thematic continuity was left in Adventureland.

A kindred spirit and true renaissance man... I salute you sir!

yes, yes...and, yes

EDIT: Please for the love of Walter Elias Disney...no overlays!!! It is a cheap way for Disney to say "oh look...a shiny object" without truly applying themselves. Lets not settle for table scraps when we are paying for prime rib!
Cannot agree more. The overlays is where we get a cheap update to a ride that just needs some TLC. River of Time?

Perfect Example...Jungle Cruise.

Please don't cheap out and throw a couple characters from Jungle Book on it and call it done. If they want to theme it like the Jungle Book, it needs to be all out. New animatronics, new script, new story, new show scenes, etc.

My vote would be to update the entire attraction as is but give it a ton of TLC and a new storyline. We don't need it to tie with the Jungle Book or any other off the shelf story.

It's funny, I've always thought Peter Pan lends itself more to adventure than to fantasy, so seeing him in Adventure Land would be fine. Aladdin just about destroys the great "look" of the place. My biggest complaint with Aladdin is it's so cartoonish, everything else is done with realism. Aladdin is more fantasy, put him there.

If I were to add anything to adventure land, it would be something from the "pulp" era of media, movies like Gunga Din, old Phantom stuff, or even something on the lines of Jonny Quest. Not a direct copy, but something along those lines, keeping with the "flavor" of AL.
