Pre-Trip Adventure is out there...June 2017

Hi again! I'm Amy if you all don't know me! Brian's resolve didn't last very long!! He has agreed to go back next June!!!! (For those of you who didn't read my report from this June, Brian (my hubby) was not happy with the behavior exhibited by our children, and swore he would never take them back!) Here we are on the last day of that June trip:

Logan is 13, Lily is 11, and Owen is 8.

This trip will be a bit different for us. Brian and I were just down in WDW this past weekend to book the free dining bounceback offer! We will be at Caribbean Beach from Monday, June 5-Saturday, June 17. We plan to drive down (14 hours) on Friday, June 2 and spend the night at my aunt's house in The Villages. We will sleep in on Saturday, then check in to our resort at Universal Studios! I'm not sure which resort yet, but it will be one of the deluxe ones where you get the unlimited express passes. I think we will probably stay at Royal Pacific, I just have to wait and see what kind of AAA discount I can get. I plan to get our tickets through Undercover Tourist, and they have a buy 2 day park to park passes and get a 3rd day free, so we will probably go into the parks Sat. afternoon. We will then spend all day Sunday at the parks, and Monday morning. I'm hoping to be done by early to mid afternoon on Monday, then head over to check in at CBR and relax for the evening. We also plan to go to Seaworld one day during the trip.

We got the water parks and more tickets again this year, so we will definitely be doing both water parks again. We also got the park hoppers. We've never had them with the kids before, so we shall see how it goes.

I just realized that they never offered to add Memory Maker to our reservation, so I guess I will have to call and add that at some point.

Not much else to tell at this point, but I'll be back many times before June with updates!!

Yes! I want some leggings, BUT I've seen the reports on them and I have experience with them shrinking, holes in seams, etc. What I really want is a Nicole. I have that style of dress already (it's in numerous TRs) and very comfortable. I think it's going to get ugly in some pop ups over these patterns!

I have not had any issues with my leggings yet. I have one Randy, but nothing else because I haven't had the opportunity to try any on to see how they fit. I definitely think it is going to get ugly!! Unfortunately, I heard the release date is going to be right as we are leaving on this trip, so I guess I'll miss out on the initial launch!

You are soooooo right. People are going to get nasty. The only Lula pieces that I have are leggings because I've yet to find any other styles with a pattern that I loved enough to pay that much money for. However, the preview in the video they released has me wanting EVERYTHING!!! Lol. I'm going to be broke.

I'm going to have to just not look so I don't go broke! With one kid getting ready to go into high school and be driving soon, and all three in a million and one activities, I just won't be able to afford to get as much as I want!!

I'm really going to have to limit myself, too. We're going to have some large purchases to make in the next few years (and eventually kids), so I need to start improving my saving habits lol.

@TheMouseFan I'm super excited to see how this trip pans out for you! I hope the kids don't stress your husband out as much. I think the extra space in the hotel room will help with that a lot. There's nothing like close quarters to exacerbate stress and discontent!

I agree about the extra space! I've already had the discussion with the kids about having lots of room to find a quiet spot and being by themselves when needed! And not bugging each other when they are in a quiet spot! We'll see!! Right now I am most stressed about the 14 hour car trip!

Double digit dance today!! Not for Disney, but for our departure day. I can't believe how close it is! Still no suitcases out (that will happen this weekend), but lots of gathering and packing has been done!

I think I can clear up the whole Glendale Heights thing. If you "personalized" your magic bands they go to Illinois first for the personalization then get shipped from there. The only reason I know this is I just ordered ours (we live in Florida) and when I went to track our package it said it left Davenport and was headed to Illinois. We used to live in Illinois so I panicked they were going to our old address and called the Passholder number to get clarification.

At this time in one week, we will hopefully already be at the Hard Rock Hotel!! We just finished watching Avatar. It was interesting, but at least we'll have a better understanding of what we are seeing in Pandora.

2 more days until we leave!!! Last day of school today for the kids, but I have to work today and tomorrow. I have our Universal suitcase totally packed and ready to go. I'll do one last load of laundry tonight and finish packing all of our clothes, then we just have to make it through the longest 24 hours ever!!

Only thing left to do is to try to get a few hours of sleep!
