Advantage Vacation Homes?

Anyone ever stay at advantage vacation homes? They are formerly Resort Quest. The only reason I'm even looking into these vs All Star vacation homes is the cancellation policy.

I've never used Advantage so I can't help you there. But the one I use all the time (and recommend to friends and family) is www.cheaporlandovacationrentals.com. not sure about "cheap" homes they seem expensive to me and they charge you extra for things like game room and games stations which a lot of owners have included in their prices.there are better deals out there .

Do you have any names of companies you use? I've looked around and even rented from a couple of different places, but none have been able to touch "cheap". Last year I got a four bedroom, two bath pool home for $94/night plus tax. We split the house with friends and it worked out great ($47 ea/night). The thing I like most about them, is they don't take a security deposit up front. They take your credit card but don't use it unless there is damage to the house. Others I have rented from take a deposit of $400 a month before you even get there, then credit your credit card two or more weeks after you leave the vacation home. I don't care for that, as I keep no balace on my credit cards. It was a hastle to get a check from them. If you have a company you've used, I'd be interested in getting in touch with them.

rent direct from an owner a 5 bed home in the low season runs out at $1180 inc tax and pool heat for this year .Most have game room ,internet acess ,ps2, grill all of which are included in the price .According to the website posted all these things would be charged as extras

Game Rooms +$175
Playstation 2 or Sim +$70
Computer +$70
Internet Access +$70
Electric Grill +$50

then add the tax as well 12/13%
