Advance Purchases/Requests

How far in advance can you / should you try to reserve character breakfast and dinner as well as tickets to Cirque?

The trip is not until November, but we are looking at doing a character breakfast in Cinderella's Castle, a character dinner at Chef Mickey's (on my daughters b-day) and Cirque one evening during our stay.

Any suggestions (on the above questions, please) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Cinderella's Royal table: a 60 day advanced booking is required
These are very hard to get & I would try as soon as you can.
A deposit is also required at the time of booking.

Chef Mickey's: I didn't see a set timetable, but they are required.

I'm not sure when in November when you are going, but I have never had a problem getting in here. We have even called in the afternoon on a whim & were able to get in (during the winter months)

Cirque: tickets can be bought up to six months in advance.

Good luck! I think the only one you will have trouble with is the Royal table....call early, call often & be persistant!

I thought that the PS ressies for Cinderella's Royal Table as well as anything else in MK can be made 90 days in advance now?? Please call and double check me though just to be certain, however Tigs Mom is right, call early & often. I would also call for each morning of your trip to make sure you get in. For example call 90 days out from the first morning of your trip. If you get it, stop there and call maybe only for your daughters actual birthday and if you get that cancel the first PS. You may not get her exact birthday so be a tad flexible on that. Also there is the Princess Storybook breakfast in Norway if it has to be on her birthday. That one doesnt sell out as quick but both are VERY popular so call as soon as possible!! Belle

Cinderella's Royal table is now 90 days out. We called to check to see how much the deposit was and they told us that it changed from 60 days to 90 days. BTW the deposit is 10 dollars per adult and 5 dollars per child. We did Chef Mickey's on our last trip and it was wonderful. But like tigsmom said start calling early. They suggested to start calling about 5 minutes before they start answering the phones. We are going to try and do Cinderella's breakfast this time.

Good luck:wave:

OK. Here is a new twist of the knife. My wife was talking to a friend who said that when you call on the advance (60 or 90 days depending) the character breakfasts tend to 'sell-out' in 5 to 10 minutes. She said that you have to be real short with your request and do not take time to exchange pleasantries (how's the weather, what's Jebs chances in 2008, etc.). She basically said that when you call you pretty much just say time and place.

This prompted some more questions for my band of experts...

1. Say you can call ahead 60 or 90 days to make a 'reservation', at what time do the phone lines open to make said call?

2. If you call to late to get a seating for Monday (being 60/90 days out) can you try and make one for another day that week at that time or do you have to wait until you hit the actual 60/90 day barrier?

3. Are bribes accepted / encouraged?

Any suggestions?

Some answers
1)7 am EST on the dot!!! Start dialing at 6:59 & do not hang up if you get put on hold you are in a line for those ressies.
2) Say your first call is on a Monday for the first morning of your trip, and you dont get through, for morning #2 of the trip you must call on Tuesday.
3) If you can figure out a way to bribe the computer....go for it. The people working said computer are the ones you talk to however!!! Sometimes the Concierge stations get a last minute reservation due to cancellation.
Good luck!!! Belle
