Can Adults order from the kids menu at table service restaurants?
I see in small fine print it says for kids 9 and under, but I would rather what's on the kids menu instead of what's on the adult menu
don't think we will be on the dining plan because there is no dining plan right now. but if it comes back we might get it.

In many cases yes (for a la carte restaurants only, never at a buffet or family-style place that charges a fixed price per head) but they will insist on bringing you an adult-sized portion and will charge you a much-higher adult price.

I have. Sometimes I am just not hungry or was not feeling well and instead of not ordering anything and sitting there while the rest of my family eats, I just get a kids entree. To be honest, I have only done this at two restaurants--Skipper Canteen and Sanaa. At Skipper Canteen, I did not dig much on the menu since they pared it down, so I got a kids steak entree instead. At Sanaa, I have ordered the kids butter chicken & rice and the bread service, so the cost of my meal was on par of an adult's anyways. The servers do not give me any issues.

That's encouraging! We had a Skipper read the riot act to my 11-year-old daughter when she simply asked to look at a kids' menu at Skipper Canteen.

As long as it isn't a fixed price menu, you probably won't have trouble ordering from the kids' menu. This is one of those situations where it's probably going to be fine, but one specific cast member could handle things differently.

In my extremely picky early 20's I order from the kids menu several times at TS locations that were a la carte. I did have the DDP though so I had essentially already paid for the adult meal.
In general though we don't eat somewhere if everyone in the party can't find an appealing menu item.
Also its never a problem to buy off the kids menu at QS locations so you also may want to consider eating QS for meals that require a kids meal.
