Adults at WDW

I believe HOB on Sunday nights is 19+. And if you're a CM wanting to get in free, 21+.

And I agree. It is CRAZY in there on Sunday nights and DOUBLE CRAZY if Monday is a holiday!
A place that's adult only gets crazy crowded the one night it's actually 19+ to get in. It's been a while since I took an economics class, but it sounds to me like the demand is high enough to warrant additional supply. Anyone from Disney reading this?

Pleasure Island 10 years ago.

And look how well Perversion Island worked out for Disney? However, I now wish Disney would have kept that place of gluttony open because when they closed it down, the drunks went to WS and now expose our children to their salacious acts that were once sequestered to PI.

Oh, and I am getting really tired of all this bashing the kids when you are at Disney. For Christ's sake, the average age at Disney is what, 9 years old. Get a life people and go to an adult-only resort or somewhere kids don't rule.

You are obviously under the mistaken impression that WDW is only for children.

While the MK maybe geared more for the child the other parks are designed more for older and more mature crowds. Hence your disdain for the "drunks" at Epcot. If you want your pristine view of WDW to remain virgin and true to your distorted view of reality then I suggest you keep you and your family at the Magic Kingdom as Disney has no responsibility to you to shield your children from those values that you hold too close to your heart.

There's no more drinking going on at WS then there is at my family's for thanksgiving. My kids have already seen it all:hungover:

And sometimes kids need some bashing...even mine;). Verbally, not physically of course.

No one seems to have an issue with adults only entertainment and areas on DCL, yet at the #1 vacation destination in the world, it's supposedly not ok.

Right now the options are lacking. I certainly hope it will get better with places on the Landing being forced to stay open till 2am, but I don't have a whole lot of hope.

Gosh guys. Just go to Citywalk d: Why does it have to be at Disney?? Universal isn't really that far away from the place ! I enjoy my Disney family-themed! xD

What about those people who enjoy their Universal family themed?

(I know the whole Universal resort is a little more adult anyway, but my point is there will always be those who don't want bars and adult venues).

I don't think we will see the full nightclubs come back to Disney Springs, but I think there will be some bars with a more adult atmosphere (in the same way the Marketplace restaurants, T-Rex & Rainforest Cafe are more of a family atmosphere). I would love to see some entertainment venues such as comedy warehouse return, rather than just bars with bands.

My friend and I love Paradiso 37. The atmosphere is really fun (sit on the patio, it's great; of course I'm also partial because I love drinking outside), the food is good, and the margaritas are yummy! And if you're staying on property, you have the bus, so no worries about having to drive! I don't recall ever seeing problems with kids being there at night. :)

And doesn't Splitsville have an outdoor little bar? Yeah, it will never be Pleasure Island but there are definitely bars and things to do for adults.

With live entertainment most afternoons/nights. Yeeha Bob (of Port Orleans) occasionally plays a more classic rock-oriented show there, and I've seen the real Tommy Tutone do 867-5309/Jenny from literally 8 feet away from my barstool. HoB also has live music on the patio afternoons/evenings, pulling in some great local talent (for example, local legend Jeff Howell tonight).

I am in the school that thinks Disney should have more adults only options. I'm actually quite surprised that they don't have some adult only pools like on the ships. I'm not saying that it shouldn't continue to be a family friendly place but it could do that and offer more for adults too.

And I have to agree that it would be nice to have adult only hours at most of the signatures. Nothing like booking an ADR late at night at the Caifornia Grill to find it filled with loud, crying children.
