Adult ordering Kids Meal

I've never ordered off the kid's meal (as an adult) at a table service restaurant so I can't help, but I have ordered off it at quick service places. I was surprised at how much food I actually got with the kids meal, it was the entree and a cookie (or fruit) and a drink. It was perfect.

The corndog nugget kids meal at Restaurantasorus is a pretty good lunch. And it comes in a beach bucket that you get to keep! :)

They are closing Ellen?

The rumors are that is where the Guardians of the Galaxy will find a home in WDW.

As long as you don't order alcohol then they cannot ask your age. Tell them you are not comfortable with the question and order your kids meal.

We eat quick service more than table service. I am well over 12 and I like to order kids meals because its the right amount of food for me. No one has questioned me when ordering one at the parks or at the resort. The only problem I've had is the selection can be limited to hamburgers, chicken nuggets, crustables (yuck) I liked the suggestion of ordering an appetizer. Or maybe splitting a meal. The portions at most places there are huge.

So does that mean that Ellen won't close in the foreseeable future? I enjoy it-the ride past the dinosaurs munching grass brings me back to the NY World's Fair. I was hoping to enjoy it again in October and January.

First I'll say we were not on a dining plan but in Oct 2014 my step mother ordered a kids meal at California grill. They just did it in an adult size portion. I've ordered off the kids menus at quick serve venues and they never bat an eye but that's quick serve.

My wife orders kids meals all the time at QS counters in parks or resorts with no issues...she just finds the serving sizes more accommodating.

This thread has good info for me. Sometimes I've wanted to experience the atmosphere of a restaurant, but didn't want any of the adult entrees. I've never dared before to think I could order off the kids' menu.
