Adult Disney Content?

Not only would price go up, but they'd also probably start inserting ads.

I don't know about the ads, but the price would absolutely go up. The countries that have Star integrated with Disney+ are more expensive that D+ alone. When they added Star automatically to Disney+ in Canada (for example), the cost went up by $3 a month.

Oh no, It's not like Eisner didn’t do it and it was called Touchstone Pictures...🙄

They have plenty of brands that they could provide more "adult" content under (including Touchstone if they wanted, as they still own that name/brand). But it is easy to see they'd release any "adult" stuff under a studio like Searchlight or 20th Century Studios and not as a Disney product with the castle in front.

I took it as programs with more adult content not intended for children, not "adult adult." My household would be their target market since our kids are grown, but I probably wouldn't care - although we do have Hulu.
Yes, but once they open that door more can come later. Disney already had touted some pretty risque animation with Jessica Rabbit. And theres the site thats got some animated film segments with suggestive hidden items the animators snuck in.

Roger Rabbit was a Touchstone Release again reflecting that they would not be releasing more "risque" content under the Disney banner, but under some other label.

It's been talked about in the past, but TWDC has a weird and branding issue because "Disney" could mean one of two distinct things: The Disney brand of family friendly media (especially cartoons), parks, consumer products, etc. And separately the Disney company a multinational media conglomerate which owns a bunch of different subsidiaries many of which are not necessarily family friendly/all ages.

Most of the time it's not a big deal because when you talk about "Disney" the context makes it obvious which one is being discussed. And the company mainly would be talked about from a financial standpoint. But the product Disney+ blurs the line - it has Disney branded stuff on it in addition to other brands like Star Wars, Marvel, National Geographic, etc. But the "Disney" in Disney+ is referring to The Walt Disney Company more than the Disney brand/subsidiary. The issue is that the Disney brand is so strong that it makes sense to label the product with that; but it certainly makes for confusion as to what content specifically could or would be included on the service.

I've said before that it would make sense I think to rename the overall company to something else that helps to reduce the confusion (like name it Buena Vista Corporation or something). But I get why they wouldn't want to lose the well known name of the company.

i think they will use profiles more effectively than other platforms, they already did some of that with dumbo and a few others.
I think they adult profile (that term sounds worse than it is) will have family guy, deadpool, stuff like that.

Some of the most 'adult' content out there, aside from actual ography is already on D+ - The Hill Have Eyes, American Horror Story, etc. I'm not sure what the hub-bub is.

The USA doesn't have any of that content, most of that is relegated to Hulu in the states.

A strictly American perspective that includes sensitivity and a general lack of awareness about the company's actual history of producing/distributing "adult" fare, even pre-Touchstone.

We know how Star is integrated into Disney+. It's safe to assume any "adult" fare on the USA platform would have a similar set up.
