Hmmm MNSSHP.... Would you go to the park on any random day in November dressed as a pink bunny? This is what's in question here. Not adults dressing for MNSSHP.drew smith said:If an adult wants to dress up for MNSSHP, go for it. As long as it's in good taste I wouldn't worry about it. I went as a pink bunny last year and I didn't have any trouble.
I can understand why you were a little upset but look at it from WDW point of view. They do over 1000 weddings a year on Disney property tack onto that all the weddings in the surrounding area and you could easily be at 10 or 20 times that number. Now most of those couples would love a picture with the bride, groom and wedding party in front of the castle. Before you know it there would be an endless parade of people trying to do this. If they make an exception for you they have to do it for everyone. As far as you being mistaken for a character lets face it, people are stupid and it would be very possible. I was attending a convention at the Contemporary a few weeks ago and when traveling back to my room at the Poly one women insisted that I was a cast member because I was wearing a suit with a Disney tie and it was too hot for a tourist to wear a suit.metman said:my wife and i got married in june and we hopped over to main street as we thought at the last min wow wodn't it be great in our wedding outfits to get a photo of the castle behind us on our wedding day.
everyone on the monorail loved us but once we got to the gates all hell broke lose. we had security all over us like a rash and a ty manager saying you can not come in even just for 1 photo (that was all wewanted and we were happy to even let disney take the picture) no,no,no and no appoligy all company policy. it did ruin our day abit but all the guests were so nice they took out photos in front of the train station so we still had our photos what ever disney said.
and the final note disney says kids might think that because you are in a wedding dress they kids could think you were a character
what the haunted wedding lady please
if disney read this get a life
and to all the americans who made are day thank you from our deepest harts we are glad there are some intelligent sols out there.
thanks for letting me get this of my chest. andy
Disney does have a Wedding Photo shoot where you go to the Magic Kingdom before it opens so that you can get pictures of you in your wedding dress by the castle. That is the ONLY time they allow that to happen- for the above reasons mentioned.Master Yoda said:I can understand why you were a little upset but look at it from WDW point of view.
